YouTube Preview ImageJonathan Krone, 13-year old author of “Define Conservatism” delivered an address at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC this weekend.

To repeat, the kid’s thirteen years old. He’s already written a book. And he’s a hell of a good speaker, too.

We did an informal survey of the editorial staff here at IHateTheMedia.com, asking the question “What were you doing when you were thirteen?” The results are as follows:

33% were collecting baseball cards and comic books.

33% were worried about pimples.

33% were inappropriately touching themselves.

Damn you, Jonathan Krone, damn you. If we didn’t admire you so much, we’d hate you.

Jonathan,

I have created a club called “Teenage Patriots of America” and I would like to establish clubs in every one of the 435 Congressional Districts. The mission of the Club is to teach the members the principles of the founding fathers and the U.S. Constitution. Club members will be required to register a minimum of 50 voters for the 2010 General Election. They will also be required to distribute 50 pocket sized editions of the Constitutions to people in their communities. We are going to offer cash prizes and scholarships to the winners of our speech contests and Jeopardy Style Competitions.
I would like to invite you to visit our website at http://TeenagePatriotsofAmerica.ning.com and would like to invite you to join our Board of Directors. Call me at (909) 790-8430

I have read where some people are indignant that Jonathon Krone should even have an opinion based upon the fact he has never had to pay a bill in his life. My goodness; grow up!!!! At age 13 he SHOULD have an opinion. On many things! With no opinions he would aimlessly enter his teenage years like many others…no goals, no hopes, no values. This young man appears to have given some thought to life and so I say, Congratulations!. To drive the matter home a little further; does it matter he has not paid a bill in his life? How many famous artists, musicians, CEO’s and the like has the world had without even ONE lesson on their own topic. I say, “Hurrah, Jonathon!” and to the world of doomsayers I say, “Hush up!”. Let us watch him over the course of time and remember his name. I believe this is just the beginning for him. Ummmmm….one last comment. How old was Jesus Christ when he stayed behind in the temple and taught the other “adults”.????? I believe he was 12. Any further angst????

Yeah, more power to him. It is amazing to remember how young soldiers that fought our wars have been and now for someone to say this kid should not have an opinion.

Seems that in most schools, according to the liberals, if he was a she, then he(she) would be more than old enough to receive birth control information at school and even be able to have an abortion.

So I guess it is selective to what a person can do at certain ages….depending on what those things happen to be.
