Keith Olbermann's audience is abandoning him like he's a baby girl in China
Remember a year or so ago when Keith Olbermann bragged about his ratings on the air? Don’t expect to see a replay of that show anytime soon.

Keith Olbermann was already a renowned sportscaster when he rose to prominence as a political commentator. This was during the Bush Administration, when the left was badly in need of a forceful voice to rally around. Such was his popularity that MSNBC reoriented its entire primetime lineup around it.
But now the Democrats control Congress and the White House, and there are creeping indications that the world may not have quite as much need of — or patience for — Olbermann and his shtick as it once did.
Ratings for Olbermann’s Countdown have been soft recently, and the 8 p.m. shows on CNN and HLN have narrowed the gap. In the important demographic of adults 25 to 54 — the group advertisers are looking to reach — Countdown was down 44% year-over-year in January. It averaged 268,000 viewers in that demo, only 3,000 more than Nancy Grace’s show on HLN, and 12,000 more than CNN’s Campbell Brown. Fox News’s O’Reilly Factor dominated the hour with 964,000 viewers age 25 to 54, and was the only cable news show in the time period to increase its audience, by 55%.
Olbermann can console himself with the fact that he still has highest ratings at MSNBC. Of course, that’s kind of like bragging that you’re the tallest Munchkin.

Ubergrumpy needs medication and an extended break to ’spend time with family’. Maddow’s lucky, he’s sure got a pretty neck.

1. Fox News’ ratings have increased in the last year, so it’s the result of the 2008 election, not election itself.

This sucks if you are BathTubBoy, but I’m not satisfied. I want his numbers to keep going through the floor, & continue down into the earths core. I want the numbers to get smaller, gradually, day by day, & just kill this guy off by degrees in a slow burn. I want Olby’s numbers to go lower the Special Ed, who has hundreds of viewers in each state. I want Olby humiliated by each ratings book, to the point where the only ad spots are for General Electric & Comcast, who own the network anyway, so there would be no real ad revenue. BathTubBoy is going down, & there is nothing anyone can do to help him.

Will the delusional Keith Olbermann consult w/ the WH on how their new math might help his ratiings. Then he can start a new media poll based on Saved Viewers.
Again,Olbermann is mentally and emotionally disturbed.He is an attack dog for the Democratic party.The whole MSNBC network,Shuster,Matthews,Shultz,Maddow,Mitchell,etc.are also attack dogs for the Democratic party.I HOPE THEY ALL GET RABIES.
