This was definitely a put-on, although I agree it’s hard to tell sometimes! I think the clincher tho is: “Right now, it says that a person has to be 35 years old and be a natural born citizen. Well, that is obviously unfair because there are a great many otherwise qualified people who cannot run for president because their mothers had to have a C-section.”

Plus, as one of the comments over there says, the grammar and spelling are just too good.

One of the commenters reported that the C-Section remarks were actually made a few years ago at a City Council mmeeting by some idiot. So apparently this author borrowed from life! I think, and sincerely hope this was a joke.

I refuse to say it is satire. I do believe there are literate people in North Carolina that believe everything the left says and yet do not understand the difference between a Caesarean and natural-born citizen, and the likelihood that a person of that mind could also be so unaware that they think Chicago isn’t the murder leader of the country. My son the Doctor agrees. Although it could be satire, the Onion-ization of the topics could have been much richer in an approximately equivalent wordatage.

Someone sent me this in an email a couple of days ago. It immediately reminded me of a radio skit that someone put on where a woman called in to complain about all the deer that were being killed at the “deer crossing” and why didn’t they take those signs down so the deer wouldn’t try to cross there. I believe this letter is a spoof — but it is getting harder to tell the real nonsense from the made up nonsense.

One could only hope that this is satire of some sort, but after some of the crap I’ve seen spilling from these woefully stupid people, I despair for this country’s future.
