Sheriffs in Arizona seem to grow cojones the size of Yuma watermelons. Paul Babeu, the Sheriff of Pinal County, Arizona, has a message for President Obama:
“If the president gave me a half hour,” Babeu said, “I am confident that I could convince him and to show him the way that he can personally secure the border, and he would be the hero of everybody that truly transcends bipartisan politics and secures that border. I believe that if a leader truly wanted to do that we have the means and the resources necessary to secure our border and to protect America once and for all, and then we can get to the point in the future, only after the border is secure, that there is some type of discussion about what do we do with the approximate 13 million people who are here illegally.”
Pinal County, located in Southern Arizona is a major route for smugglers bringing narcotics and illegal aliens across the Mexican border.
C’mon, President Obama, you visited Afghanistan in an effort to pretend you care about that war. Don’t you owe it to the people of Arizona to at least fake it for them, too?

That’d be great…if Obama actually WANTED the border secured. But the steady flow of illegals ensures another serious crisis that this administration won’t let go to waste. (I still can’t believe Rahm Emanuel was candid enough to admit that…)
But when the Federal Gov’t starts suing individual states…states that granted limited power to the Feds in the first place…then they’ve bitten off more than the American public is willing to chew.
Hopefully, starting in November, the American public will be biting back…

My idea of a great President is someone who on day one makes a speech calling out Calderon to keep his citizens on his side of the border or else we will use any means at our disposal to do it. We, unfortunately, are stuck with a gutless weasel in the White House who would really like the border left wide open. I also believe that 13 million number that keeps getting thrown around is probably actually something like 20 million or more.

That is great however of course not all illegals are Mexican so he would have to call out all Latin American, Caribbean, African and in all reality as well Asian and European leaders to keep their citizens in their countries. It is a tall order but only someone with a tremendous guts can do that, especially considering that our situation is not ideal. The problem here is that we need to secure our borders, fix our issues, get rid of the illegal criminals, send back anchor babies and their parents and put in the back of the legal lines those that have been here for over 15 years (and can prove it). We are going to need a real group of people as leaders like the US forefathers to make that happen. THEN through our example we can tell the other countries to keep their citizens in their own countries and it won’t reek of hypocrisy on our parts. Immigration (legal) shouldn’t be halted though as people do intermarry and want to move out of other countries for personal, health, educational and economical reasons which are legitimate and want to contribute into their new country.

I actually live in Pinal County. The Sheriff department here has a huge job. There are relatively few people to patrol an area larger then many east coast states. Plus it is a desert: they cannot track down everyone in this wide, hot expanse of dirt and grit. That is why it is a major route for drugs coming in to this country: Not even enough man power for the size of the county.
And that is only 1 county in the southern part of Arizona.
I like Babeau: He seems like an honest man. (The guy before him wasn’t exactly what I’d call “honest.”) Yet I think he gives Obama a little more credit then he deserves. I don’t think Obama *wants* to secure the border.

Yeah… As a person that has lived here for a long, long time I can tell you that Pinal County isn’t exactly a zone of peace and tranquility.

With all the negative reports being printed in the news media here are the statistics they fail to report.
The numbers don’t lie, and these are the official numbers that are usually kept lower than what they really are.
The following information is compiled from Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security reports:
Most Wanted Lists…
· 83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
· 86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
· 75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles , Phoenix and
Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
Detention Centers…
· 24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican
nationals.
· 40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican
nationals.
· 48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican
nationals.
· 29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our State and
Federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually.
· 53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California ,
New Mexico, Nevada , Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
· 50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
· 71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas , New
Mexico, Arizona , Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or “transport coyotes”.
Vehicle Drivers…
· 47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no
insurance and no registration for the vehicle.. Of the 47% – 92% are illegal aliens.
· 63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no
insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of the 63% – 97% are illegal aliens.
· 66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no
insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of the 66% – 98% are illegal aliens.
· 380,000 plus “anchor babies” were born in the US to illegal
alien parents in just one year, making 380,000 babies automatically US citizens (which is UN-Constitutional; illegal).
· 97.2% of all costs incurred from those illegal births were paid
by the American taxpayers.
That is almost ALL of them!
And remember YOU are supporting ALL of these illegals no matter where they are now.
