Assisted-suicide sitcom coming to BBC. “The six-part series is described as a ‘black comedy’ about three men who set up an assisted-suicide business.” Undoubtedly inspired by the UK’s NHS. Another cutting-edge idea from the network that gave the world a children’s TV show hosted by a pedophile.

Actually, I can see that as a sort of natural extension of Fawlty Towers.

Never got into it, Benny Hill and Monty Python were the extent of my BBC fare.

The original “The Office” with Ricky Gervais broadcast in the United Kingdom back in 2001, and “The Black Adder”, 1983, with Rowan Atkinson were a couple of good British comedies.

I don’t even like the version of The Office that is on TV now.

When you see this “sit-com,” think of your mother or dad in the hospital bed next to one of these stooges…see if you still think it’s funny.
