President Barack Obama, the man at the bottom of the dog pile
It has begun. In the last few weeks an avalanches of criticism of President Obama has come from formerly reliable leftwing media. Hints of doubt have come from MSNBC host Chris Matthews and New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd. And now even AP has jumped on top of the dog pile.
The Obama administration claim that “the system worked” after a failed aircraft bombing wasn’t quite as jolting as President George W. Bush’s “Brownie, you’re doing a heckuva job” when New Orleans was sinking under deadly Hurricane Katrina. But both raised disturbing questions about presidential response in a time of crisis…
Amid those questions, administration officials’ repeated statements Sunday that “the system worked” were jarring. They made it sound like the administration doesn’t get it, like it is paying too much attention to political fallout and too little to public fears…
For Obama, still short of one year in office, his narrative, critical or otherwise, isn’t set yet.
Nonetheless, rumblings keep resurfacing about emotional distance, even coldness. Whether it’s Wall Street bonuses or terrorist near-disaster, people wonder whether he feels as they do or ever acts out of passion.
Far as we can tell, this guy has only two passions – basketball and the socialization of the American economy. And there’s very little difference between the two.
In the former, he likes to dunk on old, fat white guys. In the latter, he likes to dump on old, fat white guys.

Obama has a third passion… himself. He is the most narcissistic person I’ve ever heard.
About the only good thing I can say about him is that he seems to seriously want to be a good dad to his girls.
That is true overall he is a family man. It is possible for people like that to still have some societal structure. I do twitch at the recollection of him saying he didnt want his daughters PUNISHED by a baby. That to me was just out there. My Mother would say to me having a child or pregnant (presumably out of wedlock is what I think he meant) that she will be there for me (and the child) etc. Him saying that tells me that he finds children to be a punishment on his daugthers if they are not fulfilling whatever he views as what they should be fulfilling. That sort of I am a guy and a feminist thing disgusts me. One has to think about his Mother had she had the same attitude he has when she was pregnant with him.
As for people crapping on him it was bound to happen, but considering all this govt control let’s see how long it lasts.
