“It’s a crime,” Barbara Boxer shouts. But she’s not talking about fraudulent global warming science.

Babs “Call Me Senator” Boxer sure knows those laws against stealing emails and stuff.

Boxer, a California Democrat, chairs the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. And she thinks the release of e-mails from East Anglia CRU should be treated as a crime. Don’t get us wrong. Boxer doesn’t think the scientific fraud is a crime. No, she thinks the release of the e-mails exposing that fraud was a crime.

“You call it climategate. I call it email-theft-gate,” she said. “Whatever it is, the main issue is, are we facing global warming or are we not? I’m looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public.”

“We may well have a hearing on this, we may not,” she continued. “We may have a briefing for senators, we may not. Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.

“This is a crime.”

Just to keep things in perspective, Boxer didn’t seem to think it’s a crime when Sarah Palin’s emails were stolen. And she didn’t seem to think it was a crime when the New York Times linked to them. And she didn’t seem to think it was a crime when Joe the Plumber’s personal tax records, voting record, and high school transcripts were stolen by over-zealous Obama supporters. And she didn’t seem to think it was a crime when they were posted all over the Internet.

And that’s the real crime.

Let’s let California be its own country. We’ll lose Disneyland, but also Gov. I’ll be back, Pelosi, Boxer, Waters, Feinstein, and Waxman. The border fence would be expensive, but if it will keep the liberals in, I’ll volunteer to help build it.

Don’t forget California’s AG Gerry Brown is looking to investigate the young reporters who taped ACORN.

I’m thinking of a word to describe Boxer. It’s a bit stronger and more crude than bitch…..

Also the emails werent stolen nor hacked they were disbursed after being solicited by the freedom of information act equivalent in England. Big difference.
