Joe Biden, who is apparently still Vice President, came to the aid of Chris Dodd and remarked that Dodd is “getting the living hell beat out of him.”
At first we were shocked at the blatant honesty of the statement, and by the amount of sense the hitherto sense-lacking Vice President demonstrated.
Then, of course, he had to ruin the whole thing by saying that the reason Dodd was getting the living bejesus beat out of him was “because he’s being a leader. This is going to be a hell of a race and it’s an uphill race, but Chris Dodd will prevail.”
Perhaps what Joe meant to say was that Chris Dodd was the leader in AIG contributions, even beating out Barrack Obama.
It’s worth noting that at no time during the Vice President’s praise of Dodd’s leadership was there any mention of his leadership in the Wall Street meltdown, the mortgage crisis or the AIG bonus fiasco. Biden did, however, note that Dodd was “the most gifted legislator in Congress, now that Teddy Kennedy’s gone.”
We’re not sure what Teddy Kennedy ever did to Joe Biden to warrant this comparison, but it must have been something really bad.

he’s made it through almost 1 year without shooting anybody yet…give him some credit

Thumbs up for Biden
ahem. Biden doesn’t need to shoot anyone, he’s too busy shooting himself in the foot. As to the war — excuse me. The US and our allies, took out one of the worst murderers since Adolf Hitler, Iraqui’s risked their life to vote in the country’s first elections, the leadership of Taliban, Al Queda and fringe terrorists groups are in disarray. This isn’t an easy war that will have everything wrapped up in the tight timeline of a “reality show”. These are thugs that hide in the crevices like cockroaches and have no morality or allegiance to anything but themselves. They deliberately kill innocent civilians, their own people without remorse. America is the only country that can and will stand up to this kind of evil. Things were going good until BO started castrating the American soldier in public, apologizing for all the good America stands for, abandoning eastern Europe and basically cozying up to the enemy. If he wasn’t president he could be tried for treason. Give me a break you weak livered ignorant left wing nin-commie-poop. Go wallow with the loosers where you belong until the terrorists come after you.
why is it that I forget he is vice president…? Even though Cheney was a very behind the scenes type of guy I NEVER forgot he was vice president but there something terribly forgettable about Biden…
I’m sure Biden was just doing as his boss asked him to do.Obama is wise letting Biden do this type of work as it will keep Biden from sticking his foot in his mouth as usual. As for Dodd,I would be very happy to see Chris Dodd led off tojail in handcuffs. He is a crook just like his father was. I have never voted for him as our Senator from Ct and never will.
