Looks like we were right to be concerned that the House of Representatives’ apology for slavery was just a prelude to reparations.

Otherwise, it’s difficult to explain black House Democrats’ reaction to a “no reparations” disclaimer inserted in the Senate version of the apology.

The Senate disclaimer says: “Nothing in this resolution (A) authorizes or supports any claim against the United States or (B) serves as a settlement of any claim against the United States.”

Those simple words have angered members of the Congressional Black Caucus.

“I would not want to have any language in place that would deny anyone, any citizen, the right to address a grievance,” said wacko Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat.

“I feel that some method other than just an apology should be made. People should be made whole,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., said.

To that we say, “Shut the hell up, Sheila. Close your pie hole, Bennie.”

Uh-oh. Have we gone too far? In that case, we would like to issue an apology for the previous paragraph. But no reparations.

Are we going to be able to get reparations from Obama?

The Democratic Party’s funding of orgs like ACORN constitutes reparation, as do a number of other initiatives. If anyone should pay direct reparation, that would be the Democratic Party, racist in principle long before JFK was forced to see the light, primarily for political gain.

There’s an interesting video at a blog named Swamp Bubbles, wherein Obama is interviewed by Chicago Public Radio. It’s worth listening to because it reveals Obama’s attitude towards the Constitution he is supposed to be an expert on.

I hope it’s okay to share the link–I don’t gain anything by doing so but I believe this inteview was deliberately overlooked during the campaign–scroll down on the page for the video:

If I was in congress…..I would just ask all of the Black Caucus members why they hate black kids. Because if they didn’t hate black kids they would allow the school voucher program.

I would ask them everyday during my “time” to speak.

The CBC is a fraud.

This clamoring for reparations was inevitable.

In fact, I actually expected it on January 21, 2009.

I promise not to ask for reparations if I can have MY freedoms back.

Freedom from oppressive taxation.
Freedom to decide what is unhealthy for me.
Freedom to decide what contracts I want to enter into.
Freedom to trust that those contracts will be honored.
Freedom from “Green Science” and related religions.
