Blue on Blue in CA – Eco-glitterati versus the unemployed. “California’s Monterey Shale Formation, which is a ‘vast source rock’ that contains potentially billions of barrels of oil, could be a significant source of job and wealth creation for the Golden State.” Big deal. It’s not like the state needs the money or anything.

“Jobs?” “Wealth?” Those few California Progressives who understand the words don’t like either one, and the rest vote the way they’re told, so there is a better chance that their bullet train from Stockton to San Bernardino will start operating than there is of even one barrel of oil ever being extracted from the shale.

The coastal county leftists and the Sierra Club loons will make sure not as drop of oil is ever realized from the Monterey Shale Formation.

These are the same people who hold up signs like the one here several months back..”Who needs oil I ride the Bus”…..the environazi’s in Kalifornia have no clue…..someone tries to drill these wacko’s will lay down in front of the drill bits and go absolutely nuts for the media and the media will play it over and over…..Sad to see a state that could be something drifting ever closer to third world status….

The shale company should tell them it’s a proven reserve of unicorn farts, then they’ll be all for it.

And the “Forward” velocity towards the rocks increases every day for California. Gonna be one hell of a splat when they finally hit bottom.

Why would anyone want to start a business in California? With the new tax proposals Gov Moonbeam has put out there, I would start my company in Oregon and angle drill into that formation. Cali doesn’t deserve the jobs or revenue from that oil.

Oregon is slipping into the liberal sewer with all the California transplants, so is Washington, The major cities are controlled by democraps, the sane folks don’t live in the big cities just like in California.

My conservative brother lives on the outskirts of Seattle. The things he tells me about Seattle’s liberals would curl your hair.
