Boeing Announces Big Layoffs in Defense Division. Great first day after the election. Sorry, but I felt today warrants more than a sentence or two of vituperation (AKA I’m major pissed off). So what’s happening?
1. Boeing is laying off 30% of their management jobs from 2010 levels, closing facilities in California (no doubt a smart move) and consolidating several business units to cut costs.
2. The Dow is down -312.95, the NASDAQ is down -74.64, the S&P 500 is down -33.86. You can tell what Wall Street thinks is about to happen.
3. You can read about Why Stocks May Keep Falling: ‘The Sugar High Will End,’ for further details.
4. You can read about Asian Shares Drop on US “Fiscal Cliff” Fears. Evidently they think Obama is a disaster in the making, too.
5. If you want to see out competent the Obama administration is you can read: FEMA centers in New York City ‘closed due to weather.’ We guess they only come out when it’s sunny and above 70 degrees.
6. My employees will be finding out soon they’re losing their health care. They can enjoy the wonderful benefIts of Obamacare from now on. (Perhaps after waiting a year or two to see a doctor about their cold they’ll vote Republican).
7. Some of my employees will be laid off soon. I can’t plan on anything but less business. Between Obama and the clown circus California government (who now have a Democrat super majority – meaning the can do whatever they want), the only things I can count on are death, tax increases, higher prices for every commodity you can name and more bullshit regulations to deal with. You can bet the banks won’t be loaning any working capitol (or the Mafia), which all adds up to less money and more work for no pay.
8. I am totally disgusted with: Dick Morris’ LSD election prediction, Fox News coverage of the election (Hey! Let’s throw in the towel I want to go home and have a beer!), Karl Rove (who couldn’t predict himself out of a paper bag but seems very adept at pulling bullshit excuses out of his fat ass), Romney’s pollsters (hint – next time here the guys the Democrats had – they’re obviously not stupid or on drugs) and last but not least, the idiots who voted for Obama.

I could go on, and on, and on, and on, and on…..but you get the point, which is that it’s all pretty much pointless from now on.

Last night was the night I was going to open a bottle of champagne to celebrate a Romney victory – it’s still in the frig. I could not believe how the events of last night went. Maybe reading Thomas Paine’s article “The Crisis” might help a little and it begins with “These are the times that try men’s souls.”
Lots of prayers have been said by me for this country and hoping with all my heart we survive another four years.

A lot of small businesses are going to fold up here soon, but I fully expect these lying bastards to keep hiding the real unemployment numbers from everyone to avoid the panic. I have an amazing lack of sympathy for anyone who gets laid off who voted for these communist pieces of shit.

I have a friend who is a contract worker for Wells Fargo. She get insurance, but just changed the plan, and is terrified to so much as get a antihistamione prescription because she is afraid it will count as a pre e xisting condition. I asked her about the whole Obamacare no pre existing condition promise ( she is a hard core Obama fan) and she tells me Wells Fargo got an exemption. And she is all pissed about it. I simply noted “This is why I told you Obama care would not work.” She isn’t happy. But she voted for him again! There is no accounting for folks, I am telling you!

Frankly it’s over. If that many “Americans” are stupid enough to not realize the destruction and hardship we now face – there will be no grand epiphany, no awakening. The media and Democrats MUST be held accountable in history for what they’ve done to this country – their lying, corruption and divisiveness. They have trampled everything Americans fought and died for to build a country that’s sacrificed so much and has been so generous. I would much, much raher America splits – an America based on our founding values is more important than geographical lines. Let’s go red state vs blue state. Blue states will be a third world cesspool in five years.

The fools that voted for Obama will not see the light until they are on their knees begging for mercy, and I’m doubtful even then that they will understand their folly. The real challenge for believers will be whether or not we can stand there and reach out with our hand, holding the Gospel in the other. I’m surrendering my fears to my God. It’s all in his hands now.

You are the fool if you are surprised by the results and believes Obama got the most voters, he only won thanks to voter fraud.

The grave vote, the pet vote, the illegal vote, invalidating the military vote etc the list drags on.

Romney would have needed the biggest actual lead in the last 100 years to become president.
The next 4 years is a poisoned gift, which president Romney would have been sure to loose no matter his actions, because the troubles he would have faced are systemic in nature.
Now the democrats have lost their biggest asset, someone to blame. Blame Bush in 2009 or 2011 is one thing, 2013 or 2015 is another, they got no one to hidde behind now.

For those that cast their lots with barry the communist I have no sympathy for. This includes members of my own family. They selected to be wards of the state and accept what few crumbs are thrown from the table their way. This next statement will surely piss some off here but here goes. America has returned to the days of slavery and the slave masters are the democrats and the task masters are the msm.

All should remember that barry “encouraged” all of the DoD contractors to hold off on their planned layoffs until mid to late November, even though it would violate federal laws. He even offered to waive and or pay their fines(us). Well Boeing waited less than 24 hrs after the election to make their announcement.

My friends who are small business owners have begun to reduce their number of employees to be under the minimum number to have to provide healthcare to.

Now the communist senator from CA (Feinnstein) has introduce gun control and gun ban legislation. Right out of the Bolsheviks and Nazi playbook. Disarm the populace and they can’t defend themselves.

For the takers, non workers, bitchers and moaners, when you have to go to the “farms” to work who will you cry to then? Because those of us who have and continue to stand up and say HELL NO! will be gone and you will be left to the mercy of der leader and his cronies.

My Jewish brothers and sisters now that you helped get the muslim back into the WH, how are you going to explain your situation and that of Israel to your future generations if there are any?

For the blue blood republicans stop hand selecting the next man up. Take notice that by doing so, you are actually contributing to the destruction of this country. It is my recommendation that all of you read the US Constitution. You know the same one you took an oath to up hold and defend, both against foreign and domestic. Now is to do your sworn duty and defend it. Piss on playing nice.

As for me I’ll die standing up thank you very much. It’s better to die free than have the boot of oppression firmly affixed to the back of my neck while cowering in the corner.

Hear, hear, deepthinker!

Now the companies who were holding on hoping for less regulation will go out of business, or at the very least, thin their ranks.

The US is on a very perilous path.

I am saddened by the total stupidity of people who would vote for a man who can only promise more unemployment (obummercare, and endless, endless regulations so small business will go the way of the home phone); higher energy prices (hey, stupid obummer PA voters in particular, your coal industy is toast, pardon me, no sympathy here); taxes on our 401K’s (do not take responsibility for yourself, the government will do it, and if you DO take responsibility for yourself by actually saving, the government will tax it away); taxes to rise major league after the first of the year (can’t wait).

That the middle class thinks the current potus is their friend is incredible. He HATES us. He is going to decimate us. There will only be the very poor, and the very rich.

Oh, and the indentured workers like myself who will pay taxes through the roof so that my income can be redistributed to others who sit on their lazy butts, talking on their obummer phones, asking for more and more handouts.

It is dismal for now, and probably will be for a long time. But I am not going down quietly. I am NOT a taker. I would live under a bridge in the gutter before I would take a penny from the government.

Voters for obummer sold their souls for free things. I hope you get what you want, scumbags. The rest of us are not going to be paying your bills forever.

I particularly like your line: It’s better to die free than have the boot of oppression firmly affixed to the back of my neck while cowering in the corner. I WILL NEVER COWER!! I WILL NEVER GIVE UP!! EVER!!

That my taxes go to those people, and will continue to go to those people, is disgusting.

I do not think it’s the government’s job to decide who receives charity and who does not. The government is not good at anything it does (the only exception is the military). I should not be taxed for entitlement programs.

People should not BRAG about being about being on government aid. They should strive to get off of it for their own SELF RESPECT.

That is a sore spot for me. Many enlisted military are eligible for food stamps! They actually earn less working than welfare people get for sitting on their ass! The food and housing allowances are not enough to afford to live, and if you have a family, you don’t get enough extra money to support yourself, much less a family.
Yes, the government does the military well, but they would do well to treat welfare folks like enlisted folks as far as money and benefits are concerned.

The primary process did us in too… we need a new process where we pick behind closed doors, not expose the entire country to the shredding that goes on in a selection process – we handed our enemy a full set of battle plans.

Democrats were by and far the ones that owned the most of slaves in this country. I think that the civil right movement only MODIFIED how the Democrats owned slaves. However now slaves come in all colors and classes. So we are not back to it per se just a clear modified version of it.

Where shall we go? Good people who work hard and want to do the right thing… where shall we go…? Unless we stay until we die at the hand of Big Brother. So yes we have to go ahead and hold on to those guns and those Bibles.

American Jews can be very alienated from Israel and many do not like Israel because their liberalism trumps any allegiance to Israel. I am not surprised most Jews supported Obama, because like him they also hate Israel. Sad really.

After this I have to ask myself who will actually go up there and try to stem the tide? I think that we need more Allen Wests and Mia Loves and Marco Rubios and see if they would be willing to go that extra mile that unfortunately Romney et al didn’t do.

sa_rose November 11, 2012 at 10:25 pm

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

I had bnot seen this particular article but I was aware of its subject matter. White slave owners owned slaves in greater numbers, hence the impression that there were few if any Black masters. And slaves were expensive. So many whites could not afford slaves. Many others had 1-2 household slaves. but everyone worked the fields. New Orleans was CRAWLING with black slave owners. Again, many only owned a few, as opposed to plantations that owned hundreds. And in that time, slavery was pretty much accepted world wide. Only a few countries had banned slavery. While that doesn’t make it right, it is senseless to apply 21st century social mores to the 1800′s.

KimmyQueen November 12, 2012 at 6:59 am

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

So it could be that there were many black slaves owners with one slave whereas they were “lesser” in numbers white slave owners with hundreds and thousands of slaves… So the white slave owners incorporate slavery so to speak, but only few could afford such a vast amount of people under one roof so to speak. That would make sense. I think the reason why it is so hated is because of the brutality that the incorporated side of slavery (so to speak) came about. Bringing people here separating them from their families against their will, getting rid o the sick and meek at sea flagging and torturing those that do not want to submit I think that is what makes people angry about it (it makes me). Overall it could be that there were black slave owners but that didnt treat their slaves savagely opposed to the perhaps few white slaves owners that did. Slavery was accepted but i think what makes the difference is the wanton murder and brutality. Slaves were generally well treated to keep them happy especially in western cultures even if in many cases they were not necessarily treated with dignity (they were forced into sexual activities they didnt’ care to participate in normal circumstances)

a point, i can’t find anywhere anyone owning thousands of slaves.
Estate of JOSHUA J. WARD, at SC, Georgetown, roll 1235 page 212, holding 1,130 slaves
The majority of slaveholders, white and black, owned only 1 to 5 slaves. More often than not, and contrary to 150 years of bullwhips-on-tortured-backs propaganda, black and white masters worked and ate alongside their charges; be it in house, field or workshop. The few individuals who owned 50+ slaves were confined to the top one percent, and have been defined as slave magnates.

In 1860 there were at least six Negroes in Louisiana who owned 65 or more slaves The largest number, 152 slaves, were owned by the widow C. Richards and her son P.C. Richards, who owned a large sugar cane plantation. Another Negro slave magnate in Louisiana, with over 100 slaves, was Antoine Dubuclet, a sugar planter whose estate was valued at $264,000 (1860 dollars) (3). That year, the mean wealth of southern white men was $3,978 (4).

Yes that is the thing and Glenn Beck spoke to the differences in slavery. There is the indentured kind which was somewhat commonplace especially at the beginning when slavery was lawful instituted in the country HOWEVER that COMPLETELY changed once the slave trade become incorporated so to speak and slavery (by and large) and as we know it went from indentured (free will and many times temporary –in order to pay a debt–) to slavery due to kidnapping or sold by tribal leaders in Africa not at free will diaspora brought here IN ORDER to work without pay and forced to do so against the will in great opposition to the indentured servitude where in many cases they actually got some form of payment as I understand it in others no because it was meant to pay back something or so on. Now the bullwhip on tortured backs is not propaganda please do not go there. It did happen however it s fair to say that it happened on the corporated, non indentured servitude that is best known and reviled by most people.

Well brutality doesn’t have to be exclusive to whites is that is what your are trying to say overall.

undoubtedly bullwhips and other forms of torture, both physical and mental, all heinous did happen, but Rose has a’ready addressed that.

Black Slavery actually began in America back in Jamestown in the 1600′s, and if memory serves ( i have been reading a lot on this today so i may be wrong on this) it was a case of a black owning a black.

Like everyone, there were good and bad masters of both races. Smart plantation owners took care of their slaves, if for no other reason than to protect their investment. Overseers were frequently brutal, being on a social scale only a tad higher than the slaves. I truly believe that intheir ignorance, many did not believe Black people had the same attachments and emotions as whites. They really didn’t know much about African culture, Blacks sold blacks for money. Transport costs were kept to a minimum to ensure profit, just as with any product. And the sailors and crew on the ships were able to get around and get some fresh air, but beond that, they weren’t doing much better. They suffered from scurvy due to poor diet on the ships, were not exactly genius material, and never seemed to make the connection that the slavews were only dirty and sick and disgusting because they were locked under decks with inadequate quarters, food, sanitation etc. Wrong? absolutely. But somewhat understandable for the time. The owning of slaves by other Blacks always struck me as strange. But I suspect those who owned slaves had never been a slave.

Of course slavery was common throughout the ancient world, especially the Roman Empire, and the overwhelming majority of slaves were as white (or whiter even) than their masters.

Yes slavery has no color and it is isn’t just about manual work without pay either. Now the most notorious slave owners and traders are… MUSLIMS. They always have been but now they are primary. Of course there is sexual slavery with major hubs in Eastern Europe and of coruse Southeast Asia. Middle East and Sub Saharan Africa is mostly manual labor but I am sure sexual slavery is also part of it. Slavery has not gone away and it is interesting that nothing is being done about it. The Marines many purposes was to stamp out the Muslim empire and with it slavery (and piracy which lead to slavery), don’t know why it did not continue, perhaps because it is not PC to use might to stamp out evil around the world.

I’m sure that the site is substantially reliable, at least with regard to some of the bare-bone facts it recites, but to my mind this article at least is clearly biased by its concluding assertion:

“A truer picture of the Old South, one never presented by the nation’s mind molders, emerges from this account. . .within a relatively short time, the obsolete and economically nonviable institution of slavery would have disappeared.”

How the writer makes the leap from “There were many well-to-do black slave-owners owning many slaves, who were approaching social parity with white people,” to “slavery would have disappeared,” is beyond me.

Also, the bare assertion that: “contrary to a century and a half of bullwhips-on-tortured-backs propaganda, black and white masters worked and ate alongside their charges,” just doesn’t ring true, and is itself redolent of pre-Civil War Southern propaganda justifying their “peculiar institution.”

http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2011/02/16/opinion/disunion_proslavery/disunion_proslavery-popup-v2.jpg

Finally, one needs only read what some of the states themselves had to say about their black inhabitants at the time of their secession: http://sunsite.utk.edu/civil-war/reasons.html#Mississippi

I would direct your attention most particularly to the Declaration made by Texas . . . .

How the writer makes the leap from “There were many well-to-do black slave-owners owning many slaves, who were approaching social parity with white people,” to “slavery would have disappeared,” is beyond me.

This is based on the great drop in the number of slaves between the 1830 census and the 1850 census.

As for Texans and Black Slaves, that was mostly in East Texas. Black people worked in other parts of the state as cowboys and what not.
http://www.tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/arb01
also, just because the Spaniards didn’t enslave blacks in great numbers is because they enslaved members of the indigenous tribes, and FORCED them to accept RC or their brand of it.
conversely, I’ve never heard of black slaves being forced to accept protestantism. but be that as it may, as to masters and slaves working along-side each other, it’s easier for me to understand that as my father worked right alongside black sharecroppers picking cotton out in Lubbock Texas. And he thought for years, well, he dressed me as a klansman for a halloween when we lived on base in california.
so yeah, i’ll call him a racist redneck.

interestingly enough, I was 7 years old before I ever went to a church of Christ that had a black man in it, and this after panama, houston, california. it was in Denver, of all places. Oh in california our neighbors were black, and they let us take their youngest, Alfred to church with us. Alfred was younger than I was but he was a happy child, in spite of the fact that his mom and dad would get into physical altercations fairly regularly. I know this because we lived in a duplex as it were and heard the bodies slamming against the walls often. and Alfred’s mom was nigh as large as his dad, the next-day evidence indicated they each gave as good as they got.
OH for those who don’t know it. Alex haley’s roots was plagiarized and not really the story of his family.

edit, back to the point of church growing up. I could never understood how these brother’s in Christ could not see that black people were the contemporary example of the Samaritans in Jesus’ time, and that for all the love they spoke about, they didn’t SHOW Christ, to the then, modern-day Samaritans.
that still is stunning to me how ppl can be so blind, even while professing to be followers of Jesus.

*I’m just glad I’ve never been guilty of such arrogance and blind stupidity.

*I shall now take my firmly planted tongue out of my cheek.

A great many people looking back have decided the plantation era would have eventually drawn to a close by itself. It was decreasing until the cotton gin was invented, but generally speaking it was a nonviable in the long run proposition. Of course, that may mean it would have continued for anything from a few decades to several years before it collapsed inder its own weight. It is true that in small holdings, the blacks and whites worked together. I rather doubt they ate or socialized to gether. Very simply, Black people were not exactly considered people, and therefore were not expected to have the same brain power, emotions, needs, etc as whites. It is true that even after the War Between the States, many slaves, especially house slaves, continued with their slave master families and were cared for by them. Field slaves on the other hand, had a much worse time of it and most left their owners to strike out on their own.

Field slaves on the other hand, had a much worse time of it and most left their owners to strike out on their own.

This makes sense, and even without taking the time necessary to validate the supposition with quantifiable facts, it is logical in that these emancipated slaves had the knowledge and ability to not only find paying jobs, but also the ability to buy their own land and work it for themselves, thus becoming active producers, something that would have been nigh onto impossible had they continued in slavery either in Africa the West Indies, or America. Hmm, capitalism anyone?

The field slaves also did not have the same relationship with the owner and his family. They were generally faceless masses to work the fields, whereas the houseslaves worked in the house with the family, raised the children, cooked the food and generally cared for the needs of the people. They were oersonally known by the family, were frequently confidants, and were often praised by the family for their work, The field slaves got none of that closeness nor positive attention from the families.

Don´t be such a defeatist.

Obama may have won these elections but only because of massive electoral fraud, systematic at the base and encouraged from the top.

Hovewer, the problem faced are systemic in nature, whoever would have won this election would have the SHTF under his presidency.
Let the dimocrats and their messiah be in charge when that happen, let them be stained from head to toes, let them be on the defence when 2012 looks like a golden age of peace, security and prosperity. Nothing better than the resulting demoralization and a sensation of betrayal running among the dimocrats and leftards.
With the way he and his administration have **** the armed forces, good luck trying to cancel the elections with martial law.
Anyone remember that scene from the V tv serie, old version, when the resistance ripped-off the mask of a Visitor before TV cameras?

They lost their biggest asset in this election, someone to blame (not from lack of trying).
They won´t have daddy Bush Jr or Romney to accuse, they won´t be able to pin everything down on old white people anymore, nowhere for them to hidde and that is the way we want it to be.

The disaster is coming and many people know it. Even the exit polls showed the economy was the top issue. It also showed that more people blamed W for it than barry. How in the hell can a man who has not been President for 4 years get the blame for a mess that was created by his replacement. It tells me that many are ignorant and not fully aware. It also tells me that people will vote for who ever is giving stuff away (mainly our money).

As for someone to blame, if not W, it will be big business and they are not hiring. It won’t be the dim wits fault and certainly not barry’s There are too many ignorant people who just wish to sit on their asses, receive the draw or check and don’t give a shit where it comes from. Just so long as they get theirs.

I do not understand how Bush is still blamed for this recession.

I just don’t understand a press who continues to blame every hangnail that any one suffers on Bush, make stuff up to blame on Bush, and continue to blame Bush for everything. Is there no statute of limitations on when this excuse runs out? I mean, is it going to be another 4 years of blaming Bush?

May the press in this country rot in Hades. They fancy themselves as above it all, and knowing what is best for the rest of us even if they have to lie to do it! They really make me throw up in my mouth.

Its because the recession began before Obama took office. You can credibly debate assignment of blame to either Bush or the Dem congress, or policies put in place years before, or a multivariate complex of factors found within the non-linear dynamics of economies, if you dive deep (i.e. lots to blame)

As for Slow Recovery, yeah that’s in Obama’s bag. But the cratering of economy, or consequences, don’t shift through spacetime just because time has passed.

We argue the track gets deeper, the lamestream medias and washington bureaucrats insists it gets shallower but what most notices is that while it may be going through half of Obama´s house, it starts at the end of Bush´s house.

Blaming Bush is still effective but I doubt it is as effective as 3 or even 1 year ago.
Assuming the economy shrinks further, jobs becomes less numerous while the lamestream medias and Obummer still insist there is a recovery, the case for blaming Bush is very likely to get weaker and weaker, except among the most hardcore democrats and sectarian libtards.
If the economy starts shrinking faster, this only accelerates.
If there is another stock market crash just as bad as in 2008, it would be the Obama crash, blaming Bush would stop working completely.
The people would see it as worst, because they would have less and thus loses proportionally more. They would be far less patient and trusting than in 2008.
It is more likely to get worst than in 2008, thou, even if it is not the Big One.

The reason for these latest round of layoff is due to the Obamacare mandates and changes that are kicking in the following years(no wonder they were timed to happen after his first term), not the recession. Allowing people to blame these layoffs on the economy does us all a disservice.

Not really, Obamacare will be part of the economy since the cost of it will be passed on to the consumers of all buisinesses. The buisinesses ain’t gonna eat the cost, they will pass that on to us. So it is part of the economy, as well as The Fed printing more money which inflates your money, making it worth less, making sh!t cost more. It’s all part of the economy, & it’s gonna suck ass big time for the next 4 years. Worse then the last 4 years.

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying…the increased cost of compliance plus the lack of or minimal reimbersment makes it tough on the smaller venues…they will be squeezed out…they will have to cut somewhere else, and we know that usually mean fewer people employeed and having to pick up the slack. Then there will be fatigue, both mental and physical, then mistakes will increase and it only gets worse from there. I’m going to shut up now cuz if I don’t I’m going to get really upset.

Did some research on the lady I discussed who is still getting nailed for preexisting conditions and the deal is Perry opted out of expanding medicaid, so apparently those rules don’t apply in texas. So what’s the poing of having a national mandate that any state can opt out of participating in, and therefore, not only do they not get the penalties of Obama care, but they don’t get the benefits either? Does this mean Texans will not be required to carry insurance, and will not be penalized (taxed) if they dont’? This whole obamacare mess will be a boondoggle and make obtaining healthcare MORE difficult rather than less.

That calls for things like cooling blankets, alcohol baths, etc. Not recommended for a long period. My sister had a fever of 105 for a couple of days before it broke, but she exhibited signs of craziness long before that, so I don’t think the fever was the problem. She did develop a learning disability, but no way of knowing if that was the cause. And they looked, believe you me as the craziness matured.

Typically the nurses know far more about wound care than the Docs. And they can come see you at work if your insurance covers. They usually do, because its far cheaper than something not being noticed, so you end up back in the hospital, with more drugs, possible expensive procedures, etc. I’m already concerned about the iodine gel. Well, I have to tell you, I am very grateful to have had your input, and push to go to the hospital. Who knows how bad it might have gotten had I waited.

I know how bad it might have gotten…gangrene, loss of limb, maybe even death

Then you need a different type of wound dressing. Maybe even one of those mild pump things that pull out the junk and increase circulation to the wound bed, making it easier to regrow tissue. I am not worried about you eating enough protein, but make some attempt to get some Vit C as it helps strengthen cell walls, and Vit K, which helps normal clotting!

I just started with the iodine one, they weren’t putting anything on it before.

PJ, if you get some chickens to peck at your wounded-knee that’d help the drainage. I hope you heal quickly, and don’t have to sioux the dox for malpractice.

:D

i slept til after 4 EST today. had well over 100 emails too, most from IHTM but my daily triv. go comics of calvin and hobbes, townhall, FC&J, newsmax, Hillsdale College (2 weeks behind on the History 101 course) and i haven’t even checked my centurylink emails in a couple days. but i’ll be goin to bed soon.

btw Teacher Man by McCourt is my current book. I got a copy of Atlas Shrugged from my ex’s bro, but the print is so small i gotta find a different copy.
and i still haven’t checked up on the current headlines here at IHTM, cuz SOME ppl who shall remain nameless are critique-i-fying my verbiage re: fags. but it’s all good, since i know they’re doing it out of the goodness of their hearts and not from any hatefulness towards me.

He kept it from me for a while. I am annoyed he didn’t tell me what was going on BEFORE he got cellulitis! But I am very happy he is on the road to recovery, if I can just keep his Doc from killing him along the way!

Yeah he sent me a pic and I took one look at it and knew it was cellulitis. Fired off an e-mail and told him to go the the ER. Glad he listened.

How ya feeling hun? I know that’s really unpleasant, but hopefully it clears up fast! <3

It’s getting better slowly. I have to remove a little necrosis tissue every day, but it is healing.

Careful what you say, Poppa. They’ll be treating you with maggots.

Actually maggots are really good at keeping a wound clean and free of necrotic tissue. They use sterile ones raised in the lab and they are very efficient if esthetically unpleasant!
