Bogus poll says Rush less popular than Jeremiah Wright

YouTube Preview ImageAccording to a recent poll (view PDF of poll here), Rush Limbaugh is one of America’s the most unpopular political figures.

Calm down, relax, take a deep breath. It’s all nonsense.

The poll, conducted by the research firm Greenberg-Quinlan-Rosner, says Rush’s public-approval rating is just 21 percent among likely voters. That’s seven points lower than Reverend Jeremiah Wright and eight points lower than domestic terrorist and Obama pal Bill Ayers.

Here’s why it’s bogus. Greenberg-Quinlan-Rosner is a Democratic research firm run by Stan Greenberg. You remember Stan Greenberg. He’s the guy who joins in a daily conference call with buddies Rahm Emanuel, George Stephanopoulos, Paul Begala, and James Carville.

We thinking of conducting our own poll. How many of you think we should do it?

That was a joke. Conducting a poll. How many think we should do it? Get it?

Right. This is such bullshit. I wonder if Wright could get a show with 20 million listeners a week? I wonder if he could even get a show on Air America? I wonder if Air America is still around? :)

Oh wait, the Fairness Doctrine is coming…I guess Wright could get a show.

Rush Limbaugh is in a class by himself. He’s an established radio personality, author, and a thoughtful commentator. People who hate Limbaugh usually start off by talking about his weight that’s the best his liberal opponents can do.

Rush Limbaugh is sincere in his concern for the direction America is heading – that direction is of course circular as we are swirling down the toilet bowl. Limbaugh is a charismatic person too. I would like him even if I didn’t agree with him. He dropped out of college, got into radio in the 1970’s as a DJ, and now he’s a mega-millionaire.

I hope anyone who reads the following will pardon my personal attack that follows: James Carville needs to be put back on his Lithium IMMEDIATELY, and “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright needs to be in Guantanamo with the rest of the jihadist fanatics. Phew there I said it I feel better now.

Conservatives are Morons March 1, 2009, 8:58 pm at 8:58 pm

Wow funny Lyn, no actually nobody’s first problem with Lintbaugh is his weight it’s his uncanny ability to sound like a moron every time he opens his mouth. Even if I completely ignore all of his racist and moronic remarks he’s made over his pathetic lifetime, why don’t you tell me Rush’s solution to the economy? Tell me why Rush has any qualifications to make any decisions regarding America’s future in any way. When did Limbaugh take a single economics class? Or a history class? Or an english class? Anything? You are talking about a draft dodger who dropped out of college after TWO semesters because according to the words of his own mother, “He was failing everything he was taking.” Which includes a ballroom dancing class (though this I will say probably had at least a little bit to do with his fat ass). So yeah if you want me to ignore his weight and his addiction to pain medications, I can still say that Rush Limbaugh is a complete moron with ZERO respectability in any policy matters whatsover.
