A couple of Lents I gave up television. After a few days, I was pleasantly surprised at how much calmer I was. I realized then how irritated liberal bias in media and entertainment attacks on my values had me on a constant basis.

A friend told me his wife gave up sex for lent last year, but he didn’t find out until Good Friday.
