Elan- elaborate a little how you discovered that you were gay. If sex was stressful and unfullfilling, then she wasn’t the girl for you. my ex-wife used to beat me up verbaly all the time and when sex with her was stressfull and unfullfilling for me – never mind finding her repulsive – she’d accuse me of being gay. Well such is not the case with my new wife – best sex in the world, not always perfect, just mindblowing. As for you figuring out at 20 that you are gay, hell, 20 year olds get woodys watching the critters go at it, doesn’t mean you are into beastiality. Don’t mistake the adrenal rush of something new and forbidden as love or your orientation.

well, im found out i was gay not to long ago, and im already 20 but im still heteromantic, and right now its causing me one of the worst times of my life. i lost a girl i was in love with, because sex was stressful and unfulfilling. if i could accept homosexual love, probably i could move on, meet someone and my life would be a lot easier but it looks ugly, non-ideal, and like a curse to me so there’s no romance or passion in it.

i was definitely affected strongly by disney cartoons, no doubt. i remember having romantic feelings for girls even at 4, thinking ‘one day i’ll marry one too.’

and ya what would be wrong with unconventional disney? maybe not overt, but some same sex couples? might save future kids from the agony im going through, which, believe me, is terrible.

I wish they would be more concerned about how even the strongest female Disney characters (animated and live action) all seem to be motivated by what some male thinks about them. They address that in part (“…sexiness of feminine characters is subjected to the gaze of masculine characters”), but not enough. The idea that all girls want is to marry Prince Whoever is as old and worn out as my great-grandfather’s fishing hat.

I always thought there was something going on between Mickey and Donald all these years anyway, not to mention the allegations about Goofy…
