Chris Matthews has done everything but carve “C.M. loves B.H.O.” on a tree. Yet the object of his affections repeatedly mentions Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, but ignores the MSBNC host.
‘You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh,” Obama said, “and get things done.”
“With respect to Sean Hannity,” Obama later said, “I didn’t know that he had invited me for a beer. But you know, I will take that under advisement. Generally, his opinion of me does not seem to be very high, but I’m always good for a beer.”
“This bothers me,” Matthews fumed. “What’s the president giving so many shout-outs to conservative radio talk-show hosts? All he talks about is Limbaugh and Sean Hannity…I’m envious. Is this the only way you get this guy’s attention, is to whack him?”
As last week’s Monday night’s press conference demonstrated, Obama likes to talk. A lot. We suspect he knows he’d never get a word in edgewise with the loquacious Matthews.

Weird — I actually thought this was a satire post (new to the site, sorry) until I searched for the text on Google and realised Matthews actually did say that!
How someone like Matthews — who is nothing more than a DNC shill without an ounce of anything that has ever been considered a journalistic credential — becomes a highly-paid and highly-thought-f commentator is beyond me.

Exactly. Obama HATES to be criticized. It is his ego that is hurt so he keeps bring up his detractors. Why nurture the ones that gravel at your feet when there are enemies that you are going to try to harm, charm and try to turn to your side or ovethrow? So his attentions will obviously be on them instead of the idiots like Matthews.

Well it would be challenging for Matthews to talk to Obama anyway, what with all those chills running up and down his leg and all…
And lest there was any doubt about how Matthews has solidified his perception as the wrong end of a horse, he recently opined with regard to the Ft. Hood Muslim jihadist killer that “just because someone contacts an al-Quaida leader doesn’t make him a terrorist”. ( he really said that).
So while Chris could barely contain his drool in the rush to defend this homicidal maniac, this seemed to take precedence in his mind over any respect for those murdered and not even buried. Didn’t think he could outdo his history of almost comically stupid remarks and slurping worship of Obama, but these comments are more than just more left-wing p.c. babble having no correspondence in reality–they reflect how dangerous the leftist media has become in desperately trying to apologize for Islamic extremist killers and trying to steer the agenda away from identifying Muslim fundamentalism as the world wide security threat that it has been for the last 20 years.
Oh yes BTW Chris–turns out that the shooter actually had at least 20 email contacts with the al-Quaida leadership, not just one wrong number he dialed. Nonetheless I have no doubt that you still feel strongly that we shouldn’t be too hasty in making any assumptions about his motives!
