Now, a tingle up our legs:
Rick Santelli’s Trader’s Revolt

YouTube Preview ImageChris Matthews gets tingles up leg listening to Barack Obama. This morning, we at IHateTheMedia.com got tingles up our legs too, but not for the reasons Mathews gets as a result of his mancrush. Ours came when we watched CNBC’s Rick Santelli begin what is being called a “Traders’ Revolt” on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange with fellow traders cheering him on.

We absolutely love it, so we’ll justify playing it here for you to point out the kind of “mad as hell” reporting that we’d like to see more of.

Actually – he is at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange… not NYSE.

I guess the traders in Chicago are bit more feisty.

Rick~

There is a whole world of work for you out there when NBC fires you for telling the truth tomorrow. Dont worry man, you will be well taken care of. Tell the bastards to piss off, leave the crap on your desk and hit the street, you will have a new job and new contract before Monday.

Mr. Santelli, you are the kind of common-sense, principled American whom my Revolutionary War ancestors fought for.

Santelli for the US Senate!

Those anchorfolks look a little uncomfortable with what he’s saying… cute use of “mob”, “revolutionary” etc for a guy who disagrees vocally with their leader.
