Colorado Democrats want gun manufacturers held liable for crimes committed with their guns. Sure, while you’re at it lets make all automobile, knife, chainsaw, hammer, motorcycle, bicycle and boat manufacturers liable for misuse of their products by insane idiots, too.

There are going to be thousands of accidents with cars and motorcycles immediately in Colorado, now that weed is legal. Lets suggest that they hold the weed distributors liable for all the accidents, where a driver even has THC in his/her system. Lets hold the ski resorts liable for anyone/everyone injured while skiing. Let it all hang out-no personal responsiblity! Its always someone elses fault with the left. They don’t know what personal responsibility is-they can’t even buy their own 50 cent rubbers for fucks sake!

The vicarious liability landslide that would occur will keep this from ever happening. Democrats are retarded.

OK, if policians, judges, prosicuters, D.A.s, & gov’t commitees who oppose laws & sentencing guidelines that would have prevented gun crimes are also up for the matching criminal charges for the crimes by people who they failed to stop in the 1st place. Then maybe we’ll see what can be done about guns. So if a case come up, & lets say a guy who has been threatening his wife & kids is such a piece of sh!t that his wife leaves him & gets a Domestic Violence Protection Order( where have I seen those words before? ). But the guy beats her up again anyways, & then it goes to court, & he gets 30 days & a slap on the wrist. Then later, he kills her or the kids. Everyone involved who allowed this guy to do it should be up on matching charges. So if laws were proposed that would have kept this guy away from his wife & kids, but some idiot state assemblyman from some crime infested district opposed it because of some dumbass reason, & thus watering down the proposed law or shelving it completely, that idiot state assemblyman would do the same time as the guy who killed his wife or kids.

I sort of believe that if we are all equal, we should be treated equally, & too many of those who make our laws think they rule us & don’t have to be affected by the decisions they make. Change that dynamic, & things would be much better.

I agree with this. Not the idea of actually holding these people criminally responsible, but using it as an example.

My thought was to hold the makers of psychotropic drugs criminally liable for any shootings where the shooter is on, or has ever been on their drugs. That would be almost all of them, by the way. THAT is a common element that no on wants to talk about.

Clearly we can’t hold the shooter responsible for their actions. So every person or organization who has EVER been involved with that shooter should be held accountable. Schools, teachers and administrators, doctors, food companies, drug companies, TV and movie companies, plus all the actors and directors, movie theater owners and employees, the guy who drove the bus that the shooter rode to buy the gun plus all of the passengers who sat on that bus and did NOTHING to stop him… the list goes on and on. Toss the politicians and the law enforcement people, plus the courts including juries. Every single person or entity on that list makes as much sense as holding the gun makers responsible.

Thank you Karmaa! You said what I have been saying all along! Who knows what drugs like Ritalin has done to screw up young minds? Add in the fact that we now have people, whose parents fell into the ADHD bullshit and let their kids be given these drugs, having children who are given the same drugs. Nobody in the so-called “medical’ community is willing to admit that the drugs themselves may be the problem and parents are so brainwashed that they fall into the same trap.

They tried to essentially FORCE me to put my son on meds for ADD. Turned out he was massively depressed, in part because of all the hassling he was getting at school. Fortunatly, I didn’t see him as showing symptoms of ADD, so I had him evaluated by 2 different doctors, who both agreed with me.

This has been interesting.. Another bill that would’ve held owners of Gun Free establishments liable for violence just died recently

I swear, Colorado is like Wyoming and Berkeley thrown into a blender. People were holding vigils for a cop-slain elk or moose, or something, in Boulder a few weeks back..

I’m fine with that. As long as they also make politicians liable for damage caused by their laws. So if someone gets killed because he/she can’t get a gun because of civil law, then their relatives can sue the pants off the politicians who voted for it.

Can we hold stupid politicians liable for what they say and do? Yet another uneducated or worse a willing politician that wishes to violate the US Constitution. Not only do they wish to infringe upon the 2nd Amendment, they also wish to violate the commerce clause as well.

This one sounds like a trail lawyer who is in need of generating fees.

Be a real novel idea to hold Legislators accountable for every single stupid law they enact. Oh wait, my bad…we have that already – it is called ELECTION DAY! Oh well, those in Colorado will be too stoned to even give a crap now. Not only can the libs spin some great lies, but now – in such places as Colorado they can stifle dissent with a large rolled Doobie!
