Keith Ellison, the Democrat Muslim Extremist (forgive us for wallowing in redundancies) from Minnesota, is asked by a constituent at a Town Hall meeting if he’ll give up his rich congressional healthcare plan and apply for coverage for himself and his family under ObamaCare. The question comes just after the 1:00 mark.
Rather than answer the question, Ellison hands the microphone to a nearby moonbat like he’s in a relay race and it’s a baton.
The only thing he was running from, though, was the truth.

“Health disparities CAUSED by the system” Unnamed Moonbat.
What? How is my general good health a result of the current insurance system? Guess it has nothing to do with my genes, my lifelong habits, or the foods I choose to eat. It all depends on my visits to the doctor, hospitalizations and the prescriptions I have been given over the years. Wow, and I thought I had some say in my own well-being.
Now I have to reschedule my day. Instead of going to the grocery store and working out, I will go to urgent care, pay my co-pay and get some pills because that is how disparity works!
At least he is willing to hear what they say. My Congresswoman, Allyson Y. Schwartz Representing the 13th district of Pennsylvania, will not have a town hall. At least none that I know of.
I was looking forward to telling her what I think, But she’ll vote yes W/O ever hearing from me.
I did ask her to cosponsor House Resolution 615, but I never got a reply to my email.
Finally . . . a muslim who likes pork!!
Now that’s funny!
It’s funny we hear Republicans say that they do not want “faceless bureaucrats” making medical decisions but they have no problem with “private sector” “faceless bureaucrats” daily declining medical coverage and financially ruining good hard working people. And who says that the “private sector” is always right, do we forget failures like Long-Term Capital, WorldCom, Global Crossing, Enron, Tyco, AIG and Lehman Brothers. Of course the federal government will destroy heathcare by getting involved, Oh but wait, Medicare and Medicaid and our military men and women and the Senate and Congress get the best heathcare in the world, and oh, that’s right, its run by our federal government. I can understand why some may think that the federal government will fail, if you look at the past eight years as a current history, with failures like the financial meltdown and Katrina but the facts is they can and if we support them they will succeed.
How does shouting down to stop the conversation of the healthcare debate at town hall meetings, endears them to anyone. Especially when the organizations that are telling them where to go and what to do and say are Republicans political operatives, not real grassroots. How does shouting someone down or chasing them out like a lynch mob advanced the debate, it does not. So I think the American people will see through all of this and know, like the teabagger, the birthers, these lynch mobs types are just the same, people who have to resort to these tactics because they have no leadership to articulate what they real want. It’s easy to pickup a bus load of people who hate, and that’s all I been seeing, they hate and can’t debate. Too bad.
Come on Paul, can you write something original for us here? I had a hunch and did a quick search of part of your writing in Google, and you’re pasting the exact same thing all over the place. I wonder if you even wrote it yourself. And do you actually read the articles you are commenting on?
Get em Boss!
Paul….. the government does not run nor pay for the health care services Congress gets. Congress gets to pick from several *private* inurers’ group plans. Taxpayer money is used to allow a certain amount towards the plan of their choice. If the congress critter picks a plan that costs more than the allowance, they pay the policy difference. Pretty much the same way any employer does it these days.
That is a far cry from direct payment to a doctor via a government check, which is what Medicaid and Medicare do, or at least they did when I did billing for a living.
methinks paul is an acorn operative, or just a nut — but i’m being redundant

hahaha!! See how the libs throw out the catch-all insult “you racists” (his last line).
You libs are going to have to come up with something that is actually pertinent to the topic. Running around yelling “racist racist” at everybody who disagrees with you is…well, it’s just boring now.
Just FYI, I don’t have health insurance. I can’t afford it. The difference between you & me is that I don’t believe I am entitled to a free ride at someone else’s expense.
Weird, that comments aren’t being made that the media isn’t reporting town hall events like this. It looks to me that people on both sides of the issue are speaking freely and not preventing others from doing the same. Weird that this site would ’spin’ this video to make it seem like its saying something that the congressman isn’t answering a specific question from someone who shares their views but in reality, at least in this short snippet, he doesn’t respond to anyone’s comments. Seems like this is just another example of conservative media bias.
