Congressman votes against honoring Confucius’ 2560th birthday, explains why

fortune-cookie Some bonehead in Congress introduced a bill “honoring the 2560th anniversary of the birth of Confucius and recognizing his invaluable contributions to philosophy and social and political thought.”

Republican Congressman Jeff Flake of Arizona voted against it and explained why:

“He who spends time passing trivial legislation,” Flake said, “may find himself out of time to read healthcare bill.”

Congressman Flake is awesome!! I am happy to be a constituent in his district. Truly, one of the few good guys on the Hill.

That’s my line. Snowflake called me looking for something clever to say. He found it. He’s a good kid. He always wants to talk about Africa. I don’t. Have you see his wife, Cheryl? She is what I call a “sweet cupcake”, yes sirree!.

I think what Red is alluding to here is that Rep. Flake is from Snowflake, AZ. Hence his nickname. Rep. Flake, a Mormon, spent time in Africa, as a missionary, and likes to talk about that part of his life. Red doesn’t. Finally, Red seems to think that Rep. Flake has himself a honey for a wife. Possibly, this is the only reason that Red talks to Rep. Flake, but I’m just guessing.

Red sure does seem to know everything about everybody.

Jack, don’t you be going and holding these folks’ hands. If they can’t figure out how to use Google and Wikipedia to figure my posts out it’s proof positive that my plan, to dumb everyone down, has worked! Our takeover of public education, through the U.S. Dept. of Education, was a masterful stroke! $46.7 billion budgeted in 2010. Who hoo! I’ve got a BIG piece of that! Who care’s whether it’s in the Constitution or not? It’s just a “Goddamned piece of paper” after all, (BTW, I told Knucklehead to say that.)

You have no idea what it took to get the stuffed shirts over at GOP Headquarters to remove, “Eliminate the U.S. Department of Education” from the Party’s platform. Once they realized that they might have to start driving around in Fords and Chevys instead of Lincolns and Caddies, they toed the line, right then and there.

These B.S. shows on T.V., all my idea. After all, with the proles watching football, fools dancing and singing, and the swapping of wives, who’s paying attention to what my minions do here, in D.C.?

Why do you think we removed the whole concept of tribalism from the Social Studies curriculum? What the proles don’t know won’t hurt them. God forbid the unwashed start to think of themselves as individuals. No, give me African-American reparations, gay rights, pro-life, pro-choice, hate speech, whatever. Divide and conquer, that’s what I always say.

Not only that, I’ve got half the voters collecting checks from my Uncle Sam. See, democracy works, for me. Ah ha ha ha! Yup, bread and circuses. It worked then and its working now.

Damn, Red. So you are the diabolical genius behind liberalism! It shouldn’t be long before you are the sole ruler of this big blue marble. You unwittingly exposed your identity but not to worry. It ain’t likely the dumbed-down masses will catch on.
