Leftist falls out of love: Danny Glover hates Barack Obama as much as he hated George Bush

Rumor has it that Danny Glover has replaced Barack Obama with an unidentified, hot-blooded Latino hunk

It’s not surprising, really. It was one of those typical May-December Hollywood romances. Barack was young and eager to please. Danny was older and jaded.

Big Hollywood reports the sordid details:

“I think the Obama administration has followed the same playbook, to a large extent, almost verbatim, as the Bush administration. I don’t see anything different,” the activist movie actor said of Obama’s policies in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the Middle East. “On the domestic side, look here: What’s so clear is that this country from the outset is projecting the interests of wealth and property. Look at the bailout of Wall Street. Why not the bailout of Main Street?”

“He may be just a different face, and that face may happen to be black—and if it were Hillary Clinton, it would happen to be a woman,” says Danny Glover. “But what choices do they have within the structure?”

Think of it as Washington, DC’s answer to Hollywood’s casting couch, President Obama. You looked good in the auditions, but couldn’t deliver once the director hollered, “Action.”

That’s life in Hollywood.

Much of Hollywood’s elite hates capitalism/freedom and endorses a socialistic ideology. Could it be guilt from making so much money for so little effort?

When are these “celebrity” clowns going to learn that what they think, to people WITH brains of their own, really is irrelevant? I mean, we should take advice from people that earn their living in a world other than the world of reality? Please….

Used to love Danny Glover as an actor, and many other actors, but really, they need to shut up and make more movies or wither away into obscurity (which would be preferable, actually). If it looks like a lemming, talks like a lemming, and walks like a lemming….its a lemming…. Point is, not once have I heard any of these people have a single intellectually fact based discussion on anything….they espouse nothing more than talking points from ultra morons like gore and moore….and none of their drivel has any basis in reality….

Glover is only pissed, because Obama isn’t bending over backwards for African Americans they way Glover thinks he should. Actors need to stick to what they know…memorizing words on a page and pretending to be someone else, and keep their mouths shut about politics. Many of them are ridiculously uninformed about pretty much everything, except promoting themselves. They claim to hate capitalism, the very thing that has made them all obscenely wealthy.

Not enough of a leftist for the left. Jimmy Carter had nothing but trouble from the hard left of his party, same thing is happening to Obama. We’ll see if Obama is bad enough to get a primary challenge before the general election like Carter did.

What a coincidence, that’s what Obama does too.

As a “real” actor-who is classically trained-and who actually studied the craft-I take exception to the comments about memorizing words on a page stuff….while memorizing words is something we do-acting isn’t so easy…..otherwise, everyone would do it.
Now, granted most of the actors in hollywood are brain dead-but there are many of us, not a huge amount, but many, who actually studied real intellectual majors, and are smarter than the average bear so to speak-and the craft isn’t very easy! It took me 24 years or so to become better than average! And I mean 24 years of studying, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on training, etc.
So-cut me, and a few of my colleagues some slack! And remember there are some real advocates of conservatism in Hollywood-and there will be announcements forthcoming, from some major “players” in the biz, who have defected from the Dumbocrat party because of Barry, Nancy, Harry, Chris, Henry, Barney, Max, and some of the others. It is going to be “earth shattering” when the roll call is made public of my colleagues who heretofore, were thought to be ultra libs, and are now card carrying Republicans, Libertarians, and conservatives.

A “real” actor is an oxymoron for crying out loud. Shakespeare pretty much said it all “All the world is a stage”. Now for crying out loud who under god’s sun would care one whit what Danny Glover thought about anything? Only in the 20th Century did the theatre become a respected “profession”, and that was only because of the overpaid simps of the early cinematic era and the lavish propaganda broadcast by Hollywood Glamour goons – pure myth. Love the myths and the glamour but who cared what Bette Davis thought about FDR. She was good at creating images and that was about it. She was DAMN good at it.

All the ‘acting’ stuff aside, you could have provided a warning or a disclaimer before allowing the picture of Glover and Chavez embracing. Some of us read this page during lunch you know.

I wonder what Hugo ate for lunch based on the look on Glover’s face. Probably little children for lunch.
