Dem Rep. DeLauro: $2000 Credit To Surrender Assault Weapon To Feds: As can be seen by the second clip (the one of Ms. DeLauro on her home planet) removing guns will not remove the violence. (PS -Kirk should have given her a good Sidekick!)

Arrrrgggghhhhh…..My Eyes……….I’ve seen better looking dudes this this liberal hack. Sure they will give you a $2000 credit for your “Assault Weapon”, and then turn around and tax your credit as income.
Like anybody but a mentally deficient Liberal would turn in their guns at this point.

To be an assault weapon it must be capable of full automatic fire, it is a military definition.

To Commissar Rose, an “assault weapon” is any weapon that raises her poll numbers when she condemns them… for the children, of course.

Actually, this could be a good money-maker. How much does a new weapon cost these days? I figure it’s less than 2K (although I could be wrong given the run on them recently.) If you can still buy them for significantly less than 2 grand and sell them to the Feds for that…. it’s better than Cash for Clunkers! Of course, you make sure you buy more than you sell back to them….

No kidding, have you seen the proposed list? I think I’m in favor of this! I’ll buy a nice Hi Point carbine for $300, turn it in for two grand!

TOOT TOOT!!! All aboard the leftard gravy train!

I have an AR, not one of the ones they’re talking about, but an AR-7 .22 cal survival rifle, but the sear on it has worn down to the point that it will randomly go full auto briefly. It is about a $100 rifle, so I would turn it in for the $2k and buy something better.
BTW, I have an ID that I can use when turning it in, so that they won’t know it was me, and they will tax the other poor sucker in the end!

Yet again another hair brained idea that WONT WORK. As has been pointed out by Progressive Hemrrhoid the 2000 will then become taxable and at 40% because der leader and friends will try to claim it as a bonus payment, all anyone will get is the shaft and their name on yet another watch list.

Im of the philosophy that anyone who purchases an assault weapon should receive the tax credit. We are keeping Americans employed and stimulating the economy. Then we will be able to protect ourselves and not have to depend on the federal govt to do it for us. I know that they want all of us to be dependent upon the federal govt for every thing.

A Republican Representative should do just that – offer a $2500.00 tax credit for anyone that can show proof of purchasing a semi-automatic weapon – and make it retroactive back to Jan 20, 2009

Dan, I like how you think. I will be sending this to my representative. He is newly elected to Congress and he just might go for it. :) Would that not piss barry, harry and nancy off.

Can we make that go back a little further? Like Jan 20 1981? Then all my guns would be covered.

If you really want to see Rep. DeLauro in her finest, check out this picture from earlier this month. She looks like she’s a big fan of “The Hobbit.”

What is the female equivalent of a beard? I have to believe this is a marriage of convenience at best. And lord, send her to Queer Eye for the Straight Guy or Extreme Makeover or something. Where are the fashion folk when you need them?
