In Round One, Drudge ran a 2007 video in which Obama admits his goal of eliminating private insurance companies.
In Round Two, Linda Douglass, Communications Director for the White Houses Health Reform Office, threw a counterpunch with this video and accused Drudge of using deceptive editing to alter the context of Obama’s 2007 comments.
In Round 3, Drudge landed a haymaker to Obama’s lying jaw by running this uncut, uncensored version of a 2003 video featuring Barack Obama talking about single payer health insurance. Oops. Nothing out of context here.
The ring girls are now circling the ring holding up big cards that say “Round 4.” Drudge is dancing in his corner, refusing to sit down between rounds. Obama is slumped on a stool in his corner with Rahm Emanuel is applying ice to his swollen jaw.
Obama’s corner should end this thing and throw in the towel.

Has anyone noticed that she didn’t even attempt to prove her claim that his comments were taken out of context? All they did was repeat propaganda, expecting us to accept that as evidence, like blithering idiot sheep. This is the sickness that is the Obama govt.
Nice thing about new technology is that politicians can’t hide any more. There’s always someone with a camera to record their false promises and misdeeds.
Drudge had 26 million visitors today, wonder how many hits the WH site had?
Great point Chiara
Wow. I thought she was going to play the edited “misinformation” clips and then show how the “real” clip said the opposite. But, no.
What I thought was telling was her saying “Come see and hear what the President is saying about Health Insurance Reform” — who cares what he’s saying? That’s the point. He’s LYING. And when did it become “Health Insurance Reform”? First time I heard that was at the disastrous press conf. where he stepped in the Gates arrest mess.
Well you have to forgive Linda Douglas, she was a card carrying, kool aid swilling member of the elite media. She is bound by lack of discernment to parrot the company line and honestly expect the rest of us to blindly agree. After all, that is the way she sees it and she is smarter than we are, right?
Yes, Chiara’s point is excellent. We all need to make sure we provide compelling evidence in situations like this.
