Elderly couple living in fear over erroneous Spike Lee Tweet. Spike Lee thought he was retweeting George Zimmerman’s address but it turned out to be the home of David McClain, 72, and his wife Elaine, 70. Nice going. Do the right thing? Hell no, Spike Lee won’t apologize, has “no comment” on terror Tweet. And where’s our “uniter, not a divider” president on all this? [Sound of crickets chirping.]

Spike Lee is a nasty little weasel, an obnoxious racist and dumber than a sack of doorknobs. If he had any sense of honor and justice he’d apologize to the McClains and make things good…but he won’t.

I wonder, do the McClains have any legal recourse against Lee? Any lawyers out there?

I’d love to do that on my Twitter account, but I have no idea how.

do the @whateverSpikenameisonTwitter and then type the # thing and send it out… I think though there is a way to get that # started in another way but I dont know. If you do it the other way and have alots of friend that can retweet it or replicate it you can get it going.

I’m lucky to read the tweets I get. I’ll check with my lady when she wakes up. If somebody else hasn’t already done it.

Since I believe in equality and turnabout is fair play, I will provide Lee’s addresses. These were found on some other sites, can’t vouch for their correctness.

“Do NOT apologize!” is probably reasonably good advice from a lawyer. It can be seen as an admission of guilt. Apologize after the trial, not before.

Has anyone seen Spike’s last three moives? Yeah, me neither. Nothing is more pathetic than a Hollywood has-been acting like he matters.

I read the question and you had me thinking. I have no idea if he has done any work since “Do the Right Thing”. I know he directed a Michael Jackson video many many years ago but that is about it.

This is what happens in a post racial world? Right, wrong, or indifferent, this thing is getting of hand faster than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

Obama needs to step in and lead. He needs to go on TV in a primetime address and speak to everyone. He needs to call out those who are full of rage and intent on vengeance, and tell them to calm their asses down. We are at the point where the anger of this incident has created more injustice than has already been claimed in the original act.

Actually, I don’t expect Obama to do a damned thing. He is a worthless president except in serving as a bad example. I have been ever so hesitant to go all out and accuse him of racism, I have held back because I am hoping that I am just misunderstanding his motives and intentions. I have been giving him the benefit of the doubt, out of respect for the office. But if he doesn’t show some reasonable level of leadership and step in on the right side of this issue soon, I must re-evaluate my opinion.

As a parent who has grown kids I feel for the parents. I get sick and tired of people telling me I don’t know how they feel. I lost a younger brother at age 16 in 1978. He was shot, by accident. So I know it’s easy to see, how anger can take over the emotions of a grieving loved one. But for the assholes like Spike Lee who tweeted these people’s address and the Black Panthers who are putting a bounty on Zimmerman’s head, there is no damned excuse whatsoever It’s just an excuse to manifest their own unjust anger that has likely been a part of their lives for many years now.

The problem is, he and most of his Bandar-log buddies *want* riots and chaos — for the excuse to do away with more of our liberty in the name of ‘keeping the peace’.

LA Sunset. Very well said. God help us if obamination gets re-elected.
Excellant gravatar. From the movie/soundtrack cover, “To Live and Die in L.A.”? I love that movie.

The best way to deal with a little racist POS like Spike Lee is to sue his ass right back to the ghetto.

You can take someone out of the Ghetto , but only GOD can take the Ghetto out of their heart .
If I were Spike Lee , I would feel dumber than I actually was , which is hard to do . Imagine some tard coming up with this great idea of posting someone’s address , and lacking the brains to figure out if its the right address or not .

Ghetto mind , ghetto films , ghetto brains and this is one of the great ones.

When anyone makes a mistake , they need to make good on what they’ve done wrong . Spike needs to man up . If I were a betting man , I would not hold my breath . To quote the old Libtard axiom — Rarely correct , but never in doubt.

Now if a conservative had done this, the proverbially shit would be hitting the fan at high speed, but it’s just another case of liberal engaging thumb while the brain is in neutral… I hope someone mails Spike a large box of decorated dog shit.

With all the dumb ass lawsuits out there, it seems to me the family could sue Lee’s ass for millions. Now there is a jury I’d love to be on. Spike wouldn’t have a pot to piss in. It would either go to the McLain’s, the lawyers, or the judges to bribe his way out of it. Either or, as long as the asshole is broke.

He has since offered a lukewarm apology, but it’s interesting to note that he didn’t actually apologize for potentially sending a bloodthirsty mob to someone’s home, just for sending it to the wrong home.

No surprise. Thankfully nothing bad happened to them, however if something had happened, he would have to say goodbye to all of his money if he had any. So his apology should have been effusive .

Spike Lee gave them money to make the matter go away: http://news.yahoo.com/spike-lee-settles-retweeting-wrong-address-202747871.html In all reality it is the least that he could do.

KQ, going forward, the least Spike Lee can do now, is to shut up. He should be quiet, stay in the backround, & go back to sitting in his $1,000 plus per game courstside seats at MSG to watch his beloved New York Knicks.

BTW, $10 says he can’t.

This is an opportunity for him to take advantage of the fact that people are paying attention to him again. He hasn’t done anything valuable and whenever he has spoken his mouth recently (but before this) everyone yawned, so I agree.
