That sound you hear is the clock ticking on Alan Grayson's fifteen minutes of fame

Alan Grayson has managed to bring both sides of the aisle together in a way that President Obama hasn’t. Unfortunately for Grayson, the reason both parties have joined forces is to condemn his idiotic statements.

Politico reports:

Republicans and Democrats slammed Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) for calling Linda Robertson, an adviser to Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, a “K Street whore” in a month-old radio interview that circulated on Capitol Hill Monday night.

“There’s no call for that language. No call for it. That’s absurd. If he was standing here now, I’d say that to him,” said Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.)

“He’s out of control,” added Washington Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, who is vice chairwoman of the House Republican Conference.

But the best comment came from extreme leftist Congressman Anthony Weiner of New York, who said, “Is this news to you that this guy’s one fry short of a Happy Meal?”

First time we’ve ever agreed with anything Weiner said.

Not everyone…

President Obama called Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) an “outstanding” member of Congress at a fundraiser Monday night. Grayson recently called a Fed aide a “K Street whore.”

This at the same fund raiser…

PRESIDENT OBAMA: “First of all, I don’t think people quite understand, Nancy Pelosi is not simply the first woman Speaker of the House — I think she’s going to go down as one of the greatest Speakers of all time.

I’m thinking Obama was referring to himself when he said she would “go down on greatest speaker in the house”.

I live in Orlando, Alan Grayson is a total embarrassment to this city. This is the same buffoon who brought his kids to his first Town Hall meeting and told the audience that since his kids were there, anyone who was disrespectful to him would be escorted out. then in his 2nd Meeting, he brought in 2 bus loads of union people from Miami MIAMI, to fill up his 2nd townhall meeting. He’s almost as corrupt as our president is.

Alan Grayson is the Congressman from Disneyworld, he’s an idiot, & unless there is a conservative to contest him next Novermber, he will be back on Capital Hill. As for bussing in union hacks to his meetings, bread & butter play by today’s Dems who can’t debate themselves out of a paper bag.
