Because most of the pollution in LA is not from China. Your links only told us what we already knew, which was that pollution from these major industrial nations can affect the entire planet. That, however, does nothing to change the fact that LA has been a pollution hotspot (and still is) long before China even started their industrial revolution of the 50’s and 60’s.
What part of that don’t you understand?

That was the point. The administration knew that it could sneak around the Constitution in this way (as did anyone who was at least half-conscious), since these faith-based initiatives almost exclusively benefited only Christian organizations. It was just one of many deceptive acts by the most unscrupulous administration in American history.
Bush didn’t care, though. The man had no shame. He was the most brazen, power-hungry zealot to ever occupy the White House, and a permanent stain on our great history.
I’m not sure what part of American demographics you do not understand. Maybe you are being obstinate for obstinate sake but I doubt it. Closer to truth, if it fits your paradigm for reality then facts are of no consequence. So go ahead and spew your easily refutable venomous attacks. Just know you are as transparent as glass and still a source of great amusement.

Given your other comments, I doubt that you are an experts on things “Christian”. No, devout was not the word I was looking for, radical was. As to your comment that ” isrealis have killed more palestinians”, well duh. Better planning and weapons will allow you to do that. The difference is this: arabs target civilians on purpose, the isrealis do not set out to kill civilians and wage defensive actions. Only a fool such as yourself you who has no understanding of history would not be able to see this clearly. While there have been occasional killings of arab civilians by isrealis on purpose, it is an anomaly, not the norm.
Regarding stem cell research. In defense of Bush, he only restricted government funding for fetal stem cell research. Other research on adult stem cells has yielded much progress – fetal stem cell research has not. This is just one more attempt by the left to make abortion more acceptable.
So when you decide to dismiss my statements, how about some facts to back up your denials. Or is that too much to ask. Google is a wonderful thing, try it sometime.
BTW, your still projecting – Socialism will always fail, just takes longer in western nations because so many of us still strive to better our lives and pay our taxes.

First of all, I never said that I supported it whatsoever. Again, you have made a HUGE assumption, but more significantly you have completely missed the point of my bringing up that subject. I was illustrating some statements made by Bush during his administration, at which time it was thought that fetal stem cells were as viable – if not more so – than adult stem cells. My being for it – or against it – had absolutely nothing do with the conversation.
And the fact is that with just a TINY bit of effort you would have already realized that. You continue to assume one ridiculous thing after another, in some attempt to save face, but it’s just not working for you.

About stem cell research – depending where you got your information – it was easy to find out at the time about what was successful and what was not – there was no mystery except for the one sided reporting in the media.

For your information, I have several friends who are Christian, and even one who runs his own church. These people are REAL Christians, however, and actually adhere to the Christian virtues of peace, love, tolerance, compassion, charity…

Jesus looks up and asks, “woman, where are your accusers?? and then He admonishes her “Neither do I condemn you, go and SIN NO MORE.” He didn’t giver her a free pass, but He did show mercy. That’s very different than the all encompassing “tolerance” that turns a blind eye and even approves of self-destructive behaviour. Tell me, how loving is it to tell someone who is a raging alcoholic that he’s o.k. as he slowly drinks himself to death???

Every choice has its costs. You are incorrect concerning marriage, it was a religious institution long before it was a state institution. Strong marriage protection benefits the women and children the most and this benefits society. Homosexuals demanding to marry is a demand to force all of society to accept their “lifestyle” choice, as self-destructive as it may be. Do you feel the same about polygamy???? Hmm??? After that, why not let you marry your favorite horse, or dog??? No one is trying to prevent you from living how you want to. BUT, When you demand that the laws be changed to force acceptance of behaviour that the majority in this country still reject( votes to legalize homo -marriage have failed nearly every time – the law has only been changed by fiat) you are then seeking to dictate how the rest of us live by demanding we accept your choices and not voice our opinions for fear of legal prosecution. Line up someone who is black, a woman, a hasidic jew and a muslim, an oriental, a indigenous indian, an east indian and throw in a homosexual a lesbian and a few male and female heteros, I can guarantee you that most people would not be able pick the homos out of the line up.
You want preferential treatment for your BEHAVIOUR. Not for something you cannot control, like whether your skin is light or dark or whether you were born rich or poor or male or female. You want your sodomy and everything that heteros can have (plus a claim to a superior sense of fashion).

If I choose to be married, then I fore go every other woman. Period. If I choose to be a resident of Montana, then I cannot be a resident of Florida. That is life. Grown ups accept that. This is too easy, I have alot of sympathy for your situation. Once again, unable to dispute what I have written, you proceed to you attack me personally. So which facts are incorrect? That the fossil record is a snapshot in time, with the dates applied by men?? Guesses really. Remember, there have never been any true transitional forms found. Or that recorded history does not go back beyond 5,000 years? Or that marriage came about in order to protect the propagation of our species and society long before written history?? I have a jewish friend who tells me tha their oral history goes right back to Adam, Methuselah and Shem. So these traditions predate your claim that marriage was a state instituion before the invention of “my religion”.
