FBI: More people killed with hammers, clubs each year than rifles. Not to mention that hammers are responsible for breaking fingers and driving health care costs UP. (Wow, we’re starting to think like statists and it’s making our head hurt… sorta like somebody conked us with a hammer.)

I spent NY’s down in Mexico City. They had roughly 12-15 cops on each street corner and one every 50 feet along the sidewalk for crowd control. What struck me as odd was that in a country with super strict gun and ammunition laws, almost every one of them were wearing a bulletproof vest and body armor. I see my observation was off now. Clearly they were wearing “hammerproof vests” and “club resistant shin/elbow guards.”

I was wondering the same thing, and I can’t tell if it is a ‘waffle head” but my thumb can personally attest how dangerous THOSE things are. I am calling for a mandatory background check and 7 day waiting period for the purchase of “waffle headed” hammers.

Right because those things are very easily bought and accessible. So of course the answer is for people to go to Home Depot and prove they are builders and home owners well that is just too bad they will HAVE to hire someone o do any work that requires a tool or they will have to pay for a license to use it. :-/

I was at Home Depot yesterday. There was a huge rack of hammers, hammers of all different types, for killing under various situations. Some were large, some where small. There were even Saturday Night Specials, obviously of no use at all other than killing people, and cheap so any criminal could afford one. Then I turned around, and couldn’t believe the variety of holsters they had.
I got scared, and ran out of the store screaming.
