Fox News rescues Tom Daschle from snow storm. What were they thinking?

We’re not sure why former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle was out driving in the blizzard that hit Washington, DC this weekend, but driving he was. Until he got stuck, that is.

The Washington, D.C. Fox TV affiliate was covering the record-setting storm when it spotted Daschle trying to push his car out of the snow. The news crew helped Daschle out of the snow and back onto the road again.

D.C. officials had warned residents to stay indoors, but as a good liberal, it was only natural for Daschle to assume the rules didn’t apply to him.
