Franken to Lieberman: “Shut the hell up.” McCain to Franken, “No, you shut the hell up.”

Welcome to democracy, Democrat-style. America’s favorite leftist party is in such a rush to get ObamaCare to a vote that they’re now violating long-standing Senate rules in order to do so.

Joe Lieberman was speaking on the Senate floor when he was cut off by Al Franken.
Lieberman was both amazed and amused, John McCain was pissed, saying he’d never seen this happen in his 20 years in the senate.

One question: Did McCain say comity or comedy?

Either one works.

I’m not too familiar with the rules of that body, but how does a newly-elected, waste of space like Franken end up with a position of authority so soon in his hopefully short term in the Senate?

Let me paraphrase. “You have nothing to fear from this left wing takeover John McCain.”

McCain was expressing parlimentary restraint. His support of the independant Senator was honorable. Senator Franken of Minnesota was and will always be out of line. He is a comedian. Their old Governor was a pro wrestler. Nothing is serious in Minnesota except for fishing. Everything is a joke. Teenage pregnacy in Minnesota is always high. Everything is a joke. Nobody cares about anything, except fishing and the dollars of the other state’s fishermen. If I was pissed off enough to boycott thier damn state and not go fishing there I would, but I am not that pissed since I see the comedy of Minnesota when the elect entertainers.

As someone who was born in St.Paul & still lives in Minnesota, I’ll say that there is a guilty liberal streak about the state that I can’t stand. Much of what is ruining MN was done with the best of intentions, like our over-generous welfare payments, & our bending over backwards for every group of people who come here not to make it better, but to take what they get from it. Guilty libs are ruining MN, but their spot has been taken by pissy progressives like Franken, who is an effing idiot of the highest order. Too many here just believe that these are classic libs, & have no idea of who’s really in control. They don’t see the 60’s radicals who have taken over the Dems, & they won’t until it’s way too late. Were almost there right now.

oh yea, and they care about drinking..lots of drinking while fishing. They care least of all about taking care of their children. Abortion seems to be the first and second solution to a perceived problem.

Stewart Smalley is a douche. This doesn’t warrant any more discussion than that. The douche was just following orders from Harry-which were to keep any/all detractors from Harry’s health care destruction from speaking.

Douche

Andy Levy at Red Eye stated that McCain did something similar to another senator a few years back… with that said I will have to see what was said and how, because I hope that he didnt do it in the jerky mean way that Franken did.
