Gays in the military: Barbara Boxer compares United States to Iran, North Korea and Pakistan

by editor on November 21, 2010

Oh, how proud California’s voters must be. Barbara Boxer, their recently-reelected United States senator, actually compared the United States to Iran, North Korea and Pakistan because none of those nations allow gays in their military.

north korean army

Who's kidding who? If there are no gays in the North Korean army, why do they look so much like the Rockettes?

CNS News has the details:

Boxer likened the U.S.A. to the Communist regime in North Korea, the Islamic regime in Iran and the Pakistani government at a press conference in which she called for repealing the ban on homosexuals in the military during the lameduck session of Congress, which is taking place now before the new members elected on Nov. 2 can arrive in Washington, D.C. and replace the members who are retiring or who were defeated.

“We now stand with this rule with countries like Iran, North Korea and Pakistan in banning gays and lesbians from military service,” said Boxer. “Our brave young men and women fight alongside allies like Australia, the United Kingdom and others who allow gays and lesbians to serve openly. Let’s not stand with Pakistan and with North Korea and Iran.”

Barbara, honey, you seem to forget that being gay is a crime punishable by death in Iran and Pakistan. And just being a citizen of North Korea seems to be a crime punishable by death.

We have a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy. They have a “Don’t Ask, Don’t Breathe” policy.

Why am I not surprised?

P.C. turned gayness from a mental disease to a lifestyle choice. (There was actual science behind it being a disease too.)

Now she’s comparing us to other nations who won’t even bother with the P.C. shit.

Maybe we should take a lesson from them on that part (The no P.C., not the killing gays part)

That’s because in the mind of the leftist progressive lib, the military is for social expermentation, peace keeping, & relief work. It is not to kill our enemies & secure our freedom.

It was never a disease, it’s called too much “Soy” in the diet… just ask our incarcerated that have been testing it out. They will tell you why John is starting to look as sexy as Jane after 180 days on a all Soy diet, or maybe they just get lonely… hmmm, well, anyway, one or the other! ;) True Story!!

grammar furhrer. you are full of it. it’s absolutely NOT a lifestyle choice and any person who believes that is ignorant. to add what barbara boxer is doing in her statement, is showing that we, the country that is “supposed” to be the most advanced nation is actually trailing behind when it comes to this issue, much like iran and pakistan. and what danybhoy said (below) about how liberals view our military is also ignorant. the military is a protective forces to defend us… “secure our freedom”? huh? our freedom happens within our borders… our freedom has had more assaults from our own government than any other entity… you’re both idiots.

So when did Grammar Fuhrer say they believe it’s a lifestyle choice?

By your very words and by the fact that I actually read what GF said, you’re saying libtards are “full of it”.

Correct me if I’m wrong, Grammar Fuhrer…

The same dumb B who demanded a Military man call her senator and not ma’am, is now trying to assert her beliefs on the MILITARY?

When someone who was involved with paying taxpayer dollars to our enemies in Fallujah says what she believes our military should or shouldn’t be doing, the only thing I can say is, I wish our military would put this dumb bitch out of our misery.

If she lost a couple more IQ points, someone would have to water her several times a week.

Because California does’nt give a sh!t. They have decide that anything Michigan can do, they can do better. It’s no longer “The Golden State”, it’s more like “The Welfare State”, & the GOP Congress needs to cut these idiots off when they come begging for more bailout cash. Let it burn.

We live in California, too, and there’s no doubt that this state has elected an entire slate of morons. For god’s sake, man, you cannot think that the state’s financial condition happened accidentally. We’re broke, buddy. Bankrupt. Finished. The state legislature is socialist at best. The state is owned by the labor unions (public employees, teachers, and prison guards) thanks to deals cut by Jerry Brown in his first stint as governor. The elected legislators refuse to live within the state’s means.

So, yes, this wealthy and educated part of the country appears to be too dumb to know a good representative when it sees one. Good representatives never would have allowed this magnificent state to end up in the sad condition it is in.

California needs a complete & total economic overhaul. Jerry Brown will do what Jerry Brown always does, & that is not good for California or the USA. For all intents & purposes, The Golden State is over.

I love liberal moral equivalency… It is idiotic and lame. Regardless of the issue being right or wrong, I don’t see how we can be truly equivalent to NK or Iran or Pakistan overall… disgusting.
