For dinner I had (are you ready for this my muslim friends?) the most tender barbecued pork chops I have ever eaten. I had 2 of them-about 6 ounces each-and could have had 6 more they were so good. Grilled them-it was cool out-about 38 degrees. The birds were chirping, some deer walked by(I wanted to shoot them, but that would have been illegal-but they would have made for some good grillin), and the duck hunters were shooting ducks out in the corn field behind the house. A true American day! What a way to spend Veterans day with my family, and thinking about my veteran friends who didn’t make it home, and the ones who came home with me. A truly great day to be American, to eat a lot of meat, and to thaw some chicken for tomorrow’s carnivorous feasts!
