OK, Dingy Harry, you yourself have made the case that you and your fellow parasites are in fact redundant and should be summarily fired. Or at least outsourced to India. Good riddance. And you can kiss that whopping salary and perks goodbye. Don’t let the door slap you on the ass on your way out.

Dirty Harry would be well served to remember what happened after Stalin took over the Soviet Union.

And there is Boehner and McConnell doing nothing. Articles of impeachment must begin in the House. Boehner needs to wake up.

Boehner is — and has been for some time– part of the PROBLEM. Therefore, it would not be reasonable to expect him to be part of the solution.

You are right. My favorite radio host, Andrew Wilkow, refers to Boehner and his role as Speaker as akin to a monkey humping a football.

a monkey humping a football.

Interesting to watch, but accomplishes nothing.

I kinda have a problem with that. Not you two, OK? Just the blanket statement.
I’m from around his district and followed him for a long time, a lot of what I have is from local stuff you’ve never seen or read. Going to be my weekend ‘project’ to do my research, order my thoughts and condense it into a 2 or 300 word post on why I believe what I do.

Ghost – I too am from around Boehner’s district. I’ll be curious to see your post to see your thinking about him. I don’t mean to steal your thunder but I’d like to comment. I am frustrated with the House’s efforts under his leadership in the last 2 years. In any of these budget negotiations Obama and the Ds largely get what they want. Some of this I attribute to a very poor negotiating style and poor strategy. For example, when the Rs won the house in 2010, they campaigned on cutting 100 billion from the budget. When it came time to do this, the first proposal from the house was to cut only 2 Billion. Conservatives bitched and eventually this went up to 39 billion or some such number. What kind of negotiating tactic is that? He should have first proposed 1,000 or 500 billion in cuts, or some such larger number if he really wanted the final figure around 100. This is basic negotiating stuff. Watch the Ds and this is just how they play the game. And when the final figure was less than the promised 100 billion, Boehner said well, we are only 1/2 of 1/3 of the government and there is only so much we can do. WTF? This kind of stuff is whiny and self serving. As if we are not to expect much from them. Is the house not an important part of the government? Can the legislative branch function without the house? No, it cannot. Boehner seems to be afraid to use the power he has to stop this fiscal insanity.

In the recent fiscal cliff negotiations Obama led Boehner around by the nose. He agreed to negotiate one-on-one behind closed doors. So he’d stall Boehner privately and then come out and propagandize how the Rs were being unreasonable. It was idiotic to expect such private talks to work in the first place. So he allowed himself to be used, IMO, and Obama won again. Poor strategy.

The purge of Tea party people from house committees is also a sore point with me.

Either Boehner’s really incompetent, or this caving in on fiscal issues is his preference. I can see it both ways sometimes so I am not sure what to expect. After the fiscal cliff debacle, we are told NOW the house is going to get REALLY serious about these negotiations. Well I for one will believe it when I see it. Fist-d-cuffs politics are required with Obama and his commie minions to win these things. I don’t see Boehner doing this as it is not his style or mindset.

Finally, form another post above, do you speak Russian?

Good ole’ Harry seems to think that the Socialist Revolution is at hand. That the people will believe him, no matter what he says. He thinks he has way more power than he does.

Sandra’s boytoy’s daddy is uber rich, Him I don’t blame for making it, that’s cool, I want to be there too; not so much in their social strata, but a place where I can do what I want.

That being said, I’m sick and tired of these people who sit on their ass and tell the ‘rest’ of us what’s best.

I’m going from memory, but when AlGore left office his net worth was less than $5 million, and that’s being generous, ( I also remember the claims of him being a slumlord in Nashville), so…

Now the Motherfucker is almost a billionaire, you tell me who’s screwing whom, and he tells me how to live and which lightbulbs to use? I’m killing the planet?

But you are part of the collective you, the aggregate of all the polluters, Al is just him, his carbon footprint isn’t that big in the grand scheme of things, and his narrow little mind.
You have to get with groupthink in order to understand.

Here’s a wee bit of reading on Harry Reid that popped up today…Perhaps not conclusive but gives you an idea of just how dirty he is…

They did a pretty good job of dancing around saying anything incriminating about dingy Harry, but it only took them until the 2nd paragraph to let us know Swallow was a Republican.
Interesting story that does nothing to actually implicate Harry, but tries hard to take out the Repub Atty Gen.
