No problems at all so long as every house of worship – regardless of their members’ ethnicity – has the same respect accorded them. The problem with lefties like you is that you’ve yet to enjoy color blindness.
I’ve seen the letter from the IRS my pastor received which threatened to revoke our church’s 501c3 status because a member was granted permission to hand out guides detailing presidential, congressional and state candidates’ positions on issues social and economic. An offended party reported the church to Irwin R. Shyster because they felt the guides were doing just that: “guiding” voters toward whom they should vote for. All they did was highlight where candidates stood on issues… issues important to the 1,500+ members of our shared faith community comprised of Americans of Caucasian, African, Hispanic and First Nations descent.
If the guide was, in fact, encouraging people toward whom its authors thought our members should vote for, what’s diff between that and what the Divider-In-Chief is doing? Why is it alright for one religious group to politically engage and not the other?
Answer: double standards.
We’re never going to unite until we’ve done so under the issue of character content, not skin color.

The threads of IHTM are being littered with a new profusion of heaping troll spoor because some people are feeding it again. Thousands of words repeating the same old spew, having to page down three or four times to get past troll shit because it gets renewed interest in goading responses from people. If you must feed the troll, at least be a responsible troll feeder and thumb its crap down quickly.

Trolls only feed on direct responses. We need to stop feeding the troll. The troll is just angry because the troll gets no respect. The troll does not deserve respect.

If I want to see the ideas of the left on display, I’ll go to somebody who can explain them better. I most likely still won’t believe in them, but I’d at least like somebody that you can actually discuss the ideas with. So, any ideas on where that can be done?

Actually, I have never met a liberal who could explain their ideas, perido. They do a lot of rehashed quotes, and point to what they feel is wrong (everything) but no ideas, no solutions, no REASON why they supposedly believe the drivel they quote as gospel truth. And when you ask them about things that are inconvenient, they have never heard that story, or quote, or seen that chart. They live in a very circumscibed bubble.
