My total income before Medicare premiums for Part B and D is $17K and change. So they have decided I no longer qualify for food stamps, or assistance frm Medicare to help pay the copays for my medications. Clearly in the Government’s calculations I am considered at least Middle class. Mind you, I don’t own my home, I don’t own a car and I DO significant medical costs. But then $17 K IS a fortune, right?

BTW, don’t say Ron Paul this, that, & whatever. Does’nt effing matter. He’s was on Capital Hill for much of the time our gov’t expanded the most & went into it’s greatest debt. He also shares some of the blame.

He had bills with earmarks for his district in them that he put in the bill, but didn’t vote for. He knew the bill would pass, so he was able to vote against the bill, so he could claim he never voted for a bill that had earmarks. It is a favorite claim of Paulsies, but it is a hollow claim.
