Associated Press asks the vital question, “Is Obama too much like Mr. Spock?”

Mr. Spock didn't try to blame all his problems on the previous First Officer of the Enterprise

Mr. Spock didn't try to blame all his problems on the previous First Officer of the Enterprise

Seriously. That’s the headline. They even interviewed Leonard Nimoy, the actor who played Mr. Spock in the original StarTrek TV series and movies.

We went to the source authority for all things, Wikipedia, looked up Spock, and found this gem:

NBC was concerned about Spock’s satanic appearance, and asked for the character to be dropped; according to Oscar Katz, NBC was worried that “the ‘guy with the ears’ would scare the shit out of every kid in America”.

OK, now we see the similarity. And we have to agree that Spock and Obama have some similarities that Associated Press overlooked.

For example, they both have alien fathers. They’re both torn between two cultures. They’re both cold and analytical. And they both have odd, five letter last names.

But there’s one major difference that overwhelms all those superficial similarities:

Spock says, “Live long and prosper.”

But Obama says, “Death panels and socialism.”

And that scares the shit out of us.

Using wikipedia is the sign of a lazy mind…

Wikipedia is much like the AP, everything on it is at best questionable…

Why aren’t people who should be asking but aren’t, “is Obama someone’s meat puppet?“…

What is Obama’s alledged claim to being intelligent?

Has this stutter monkey ever shown anyone that he has even the most tenuous grip on reality?

Obama isn’t cold or remote, he’s just to stupid to understand what’s going on around him…

Absolutely,
1. Both are aliens, not born in the US.
2. Both are fictional.
3. Both talk complete gibberish with a straight face.
4. Neither earned an honest dollar in his life.
5. Both hang with people who look like Klingons.

Juandos is right -
I am tired of hearing how smart he is. Guess what people – he’s not that smart. I have a feeling – just based on experience – that everything – from any law review articles or papers in law school, to his books, or anything he is credited with authoring was written in whole or in part by someone else. In addition, his past blunders with his teleprompter shows everything he says is written by someone else. In short he is a puppet. He is a mouthpiece. He is in over his head. Again, he is not that smart. He aint Spock. He’s not cool and logical.

like spock, he was conjured up in someone’s mind, is completely fabricated in the mind(s) of his creating entity(george soros and some other commie types), he only says what someone else tells him to say. He has no idea what is going on on planet earth…..the only real difference is, he is completely devoid of the ability to use or realize anything close to logic!

Take that Trekkie crap somewhere else, JustAl. There’s no room for your kind here at IHTM. (That being said, we’ve always loved that episode.)

Both read from a script and have made great accomplishments in the world of make-believe.
