Islamic Law Is Destructive to ‘Unalienable Rights’. “A federal appeals court has blocked an Oklahoma voter-approved measure barring state judges from considering Islamic and international law in their decisions.” Forget about your “rights” – they’ll soon be severed anyway…

nothing like the religion of peace, of course we should expect the federal judges to side with the muslin’s, we have a closet muslin sitting in the white house (or on vacation or on the golf course or doing a photo shoot or going to church for the PR folks. Political correctness at any cost and shred the constitution for any vote!

Why should federal judges consider any law but the law of OUR land? Why should we give any credence to barbaric Islamic laws? The voters spoke their minds but the liberal judges over rule. Total BS!

“Why should federal judges consider any law but the law of OUR land?”

Good Q. Your answer is so they can do whatever the hell they please and create some sort of [lame-ass] “legal” basis for their legislation from the bench.

I am still waiting for the explanation of why the Supremes considered European law when making a decision that concerned some kind of gay activities (was that a TX case?), and not some other law, such as, just picking a country at random here, Saudi Arabia?

So were they saying that European law is better somehow? If so, then why are we having this discussion? Is this appeals court now saying that Islamic law DOES have some validity and should in some cases be considered? Why now and not then?

I’m giving you athumbs up on the understanding that you do NOT think any law but U.S. law should be considered in our courts.

That’s all that really counts here. Everything else was to point out that even if you warp your brain, you still can’t find even an appearance of logic in some of the decisions coming out of our courts.

Revolution time. If you wait for permission to change the world- it won’t change.

Perhaps this federal Judge would like to see a few beaten women or people who have been be-headed first hand before he decides to “make Law” in his little god like robe. I said a long time ago, life time appointments for federal judges is one of the stupidest things ever done. Now we are paying for it with activist judges who think they are there to make, not enforce laws…It will be a cold day in hell when I follow any order given by a judge that favors the Islamic gang over the American constitution. Screw them and the judge they rode in on.

But Muslims are not doing anything to decrease the rights of American citizens, right? *snort*

If I were Tawfik Hamid I’d be looking over my shoulder for the next 25 years.

There is nothing anywhere in current US law or in the Constitution, that refers to, defers to, or allows consideration of, Islamic Law when making legal decisions in US courts. Therefore, this judge, IMHO, has made an unconstitutional decision, and it should be overturned in a higher court.

Perhaps this judge would like to preside over a trial of a woman accused of disobeying her husband, or a girl accused of disgracing her family, and he will pass down the death sentence asked for by the man, to satisfy his need for an honor killing? He should also be made to be there in person for the execution! I think that might change his mind.

There is a diametrically opposite base for the laws of the U.S. and the law under Isalm. And that is under Islam, you HAVE no unalienable rights. Under Islam, every second of every day is schedule, directed and enforced under Sharia law. It is the complete oipposite of the idea that everyone should have any freedom. Tell me again why we are paying any attention to their laws in America?

“Tell me again why we are paying any attention to their laws in America?”

Why? Because Sharia law falls so gracefully into the dictates of state sponsored socialism, (in other words they are almost seamlessly compatible) that’s why.

Yet, I don’t remember hearing anything about wanting to observe sharia law in the US until Obama was placed in office. A coincidence? I think not.

Wait till our friends from the land of sand start suing Target and Penny’s for not selling lady burka bags and pajamas for the guys with little accessories like soup bowls for the head….I am sure that is coming…We have an “Islamic” school in the city where I work, We would drive by at night and there would be someone in their peeking out the windows, so we would stop and chat next to the building..They are a weird bunch….Who has someone in a burka peeking out the windows at 1am from a elementary school?

Someone who is using the school building for something far more nefarious than elementary school.

At some point in the future, we will have to draw the line on this nonsense, and I apologize to all the future patriots who will suffer or die to put our society back to normal because it could have been stopped now.
