It wasn’t just redistricting that gave Republicans their House majority. Michael Barone notes Democrat voters tend to be clustered in urban areas while GOP voters are more evenly distributed. If the US were divided into 50 equal population states as illustrated by this Electoral Reform Map, Romney would’ve won 58% of the electoral votes. Yeah, we know, it ain’t really a “reform” if it doesn’t help the Demoturds gain power.
