John Kerry to Germans: Americans have “right to be stupid.” It’s nice to have a Secretary of State who backs his words with personal example.

But notice he doesn’t defend that “right” when it comes to his pet peeves like climate change or raising taxes.

What a pathetic defense of the Constitution and Bill of Rights! John Kerry exercises his “right to be stupid” every day.

You have the right to remain stupid.
Anything you say or do may be used against you by a comedian.
You have the right to consult someone with a brain before speaking to the public and to have John Carney present during questioning now or in the future.
If you cannot afford a Carney, one will be appointed for you before any questioning, if you wish.
If you decide to answer any questions now, without a Carney present, you will still have the right to stop answering at any time until you talk to a Carney.
Knowing and understanding your rights as I have explained them to you, are you willing to answer my questions without a Carney present?

While you still have a chance to fix it, shouldn’t it be Jay Carney?

Ooops. Too late. I usually think of him as the weasel. Perhaps JP will be nice enough to edit it to Jay. Talk about gaffes.

It’s OK – I have a good memory, but deliberately avoid remembering clowns like him. So I usually go right to “Art Carney”. Both sewer workers, but Art was likeable…

Art actually worked for a living too.

Actually, I wasn’t sure if you meant Jay Carney, or John Kerry.

I guess Kerry outsmarted himself, but then, I think a parakeet could outsmart him.

Has any member of the media used the word ‘gaffe’ yet to describe the Secretary’s utterances? Last summer Romney hadn’t gotten off the plane before they were describing his trip as a “gaffe-fest”.

“The reason is, that’s freedom, freedom of speech. In America you have a right to be stupid – if you want to be,”
The Man Behind the Muhammad Movie would beg to differ, but then it boils down to what you consider stupid. I’m sure Kerry was talking about the TEA Party.

John “The Quisling” Kerry. “Americans have the right to be stupid. And no matter how stupid they are, they can even become president or secretary of state, because you can’t possibly overestimate the stupidity of the average American voter….thank goodness.”
