Journal News hires armed guards. After publishing a map of all pistol permit holders in Rockland and Westchester, editor Caryn A. McBride was so alarmed by “negative correspondence” the newspaper received, she decided to hire armed security guards to protect the office building… ensuring that “Caryn McBride” will henceforth and forevermore be a synonym for “hypocritical jackass.”

I found this comment somewhere else, but bears repeating: “Will the Journal News be publishing the names and addresses of its newly-hired armed guards?”

Of course not, that might compromise their security and the guard’s privacy!

It gets better. From Legal Insurrection:
This privacy war has just escalated dramatically, as a group of self-described ”2nd Amendment supporters” claims it has downloaded and posted on the web what it describes as the “user” database of the Journal News.

You usually see this level of hard core in yer face activism from the far left. It’s nice, for once, to see some pro-liberty folks come out with a non violent but stinging counter attack.

Note also that they had to hire guards to protect them, as few, if any, Journal News employees are willing or able to defend themselves.

Typical libs, afraid of a threat that’s not there. I’m sure there were plenty of angry responses to what they did, but law abiding gun owners are not murderers. We have this thing called a conscience. Clearly liberals don’t believe in such a thing, or believe they have one and the rest of us are evil.

Biggest threat to my family right now carries a golf club, not a legal gun owner.

STORY HIGHLIGHTS
He was convicted in 1975 beating death of 15-year-old girl
Nephew of Robert and Ethel Kennedy has maintained his innocence
He has served 10 years of a sentence of 20 years to life

(CNN) — Michael Skakel, the nephew of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, has been denied parole after serving 10 years in prison for bludgeoning Martha Moxley to death with a golf club outside her home in 1975.

The decision Wednesday morning marked Skakel’s first chance at parole since his conviction in Moxley’s killing, according to a spokesman for the Connecticut Department of Correction.

The 15-year-old’s body was found after a night of partying with Skakel, his older brother Tommy and other teenagers in an affluent gated community in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Robert F. Kennedy’s son in court

Skakel, now 52, was also 15 at the time of the murder. Twenty-seven years later, he was tried and convicted as an adult.

Martha Moxley’s mother, Dorthy, said she wanted Skakel to serve at least 20 years.

“I’d like him to stay in longer, if possible. Only 10 years of a 20-to-life sentence — that doesn’t seem right to me,” she said.

Skakel has maintained his innocence.

In a letter to the parole board, John Moxley spoke of the toll his sister’s murder had taken on his family and asked that Skakel’s parole be denied.

“I believe that Michael Skakel is representative of the most dangerous aspect of our society in that he was raised in an environment in which he was exposed to and at some point embraced the mind-set that the rules of our general society did not then and do not now apply to him.”

Skakel’s attorney, Hope Seeley, said in a statement, “Michael’s conviction was a miscarriage of justice, but that aside, his further incarceration would also be a miscarriage of justice since he should have been sentenced as a juvenile with a maximum sentence of four years.”

She added that “there has never been a person more deserving of parole than Michael Skakel.”

“His track record during the past 10 years shows the person we all know him to be — caring, generous, and committed to his faith, family and friends,” Seeley said.

His defense has submitted 65 letters to the board on Skakel’s behalf. Several describe him as a model prisoner and deeply religious, and said he has taken an interest in mural painting while in prison.

A letter from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calls Skakel “kind, forgiving, and guided by God in all his actions and transactions. He is as incapable of violence or injuring another human being as any person I’ve ever met.”

When a person up for parole is described as a model prisoner, that means that they have learned how to survive within the prison system without being noticed every day. It has nothing to do with them being someone who can deal with life outside those walls.

Despite their wealth, the Kennedy family is pure white trash. Don’t need to be in a trailer park or public housing, this family is trash.

And criminal. Old Joe GOT his wealth running booze during prohibition. And for that criminal activity he gets named as Ambassador to the Court of St. James, a plum diplomat job. Jack was a jerk and it all got covered up. Ted murdered a girl working for him and got away with it, and was honored after his death by the Government and much of the population of the country. One of the kids gets in a wreck driving under the iinfluence of sleeping pills, and nothing iis charged against him. They are right. The rules DON’T apply to them. No misunderstanding there!

Here is something you may find interesting. This is about a woman named Mimi Beardsley, a former white house intern, who wrote a book about her affair with JFK…

…language warning on this one, but it is funny. This was on Opie & Anthony w/ Jim Norton reading the story.

I had been seeing reports on this book. I imagine its mostly true at the least. JFK was screwing everything he could and the press, CIA and everyone else covered it up.

That’s the amazing thing, & it is something brought up in the audio, that the media said NOOOTHING about it.

Side note, I have said the same thing about Tiger Woods. When you also add today’s technology which allows cell phones & pocket size digital cameras to record everything, it’s amazing that everything he got away with what he did for as long as he did.

The original move by the paper was a clear attempt at goading at least one of those targeted (identified) gun owners into coming to the offices at shooting them up.

So far, nothing has happened that fits the paper’s bigotry.

No, I take that back. Calling them bigots assumes their good intention for America. They are domestic enemies of the constitution and the U.S. and, as such, they are trying to weaken the country to give our foreign enemies some sort of advantage.

As much as we despise these liberals, we should all be hoping that none of them meet firearm violence because they will use it just as they’ve used every other story about guns – as leverage in their work to disarm us and ruin the second ammendment. The cynic within suggests that if any of this newspaper’s staff does meet with gun violence, it will be at the hand of some liberal in an attempt to make it look like it came from NRA types.

I laugh at the prospect of these newspaper creeps feeling vulnerable to violence for the rest of their lives.

No, if any of these idiots at this worthless fishwrap are harmed by someone with a gun, that person is likely to be someone who has been through they system a few times & should still be in jail because they were released early or did’nt get the sentence they should have. Plus this person will commit whatever crime with a STOLEN or ILLEGAL firearm. It WILL NOT come from a legal registered gun owner properly stores their firearms & has been properly trained & goes to the range regularly to stay sharp. The MSM will admit this & will never report this truth, ever. They have an agenda, but will never live like you do because they are better then you.
