Joy Behar brings her viewers intelligent conversation and cleavage. OK, cleavage.
According to the Huffington Post, The Joy Behar show is “on a roll.” In the Land of Huffpo, a roll is apparently defined as finishing fourth in its 9 pm time slot with an average of just 417,000 viewers per night.
Not to burst Behar’s bubble or diminish the importance of finishing in the all important number four spot, but TVbyTheNumbers.com recently took “the first 50 days of ratings for Headline News’ The Behar Show and compared them to the final 50 days of the show she replaced, Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell. So far, Joy’s done no better in the ratings.”
Is it just us or was “Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell” a show you found by accident when there were no good infomercials on?
Behar topped her average ratings only three times during the 50 day period. Her featured guests on those nights were Martin Short, Levi Johnson and Roseanne Barr – a gay icon and two celebrities everyone thought were dead.
Have fun figuring out which is which.

An average of 417,000 viewers a night? Incredible. That means 417,000 humans have yet to discover the joy of online porn/online poker/ online sudoku as a way to kill time. For the love of the Left- NOBODY TELL THEM!! If they do it will spell doom for poor Joy since those viewers will flock to other activities that are no less informative but really a lot more fun then watching Joy ‘enlighten’ an audience with her audible incomplete thoughts that pass for commentary.
Those viewers will increase in numbers now that North Korea will start to use Behar’s televised show as a way to torture and mentally abuse political dissents. That show does seem to have a way of making sensible humans break down and cry and want to kill themselves to escape having watch more of it when they are trapped in a room and it is all this is on and there is no way to change the channel…
Also I call 2010 as the year of super high Behar ratings since more and more “Pink Flamingos” (classic John Waters) fans take note that Divine (the fat drag queen) really does look like Joy Behar and that Behar might actually be Divine reborn. After all its hard to keep a good man/woman/hybrid dressed up like one but who is really the other down. Behar fits that role perfectly! In all fairness, Divine most certainly had better social and political insight then Behar could ever posses and a much better taste in fashion and makeup.
Her name is ‘Joy’ but she has yet to bring that emotion to anyone who watches her… Irony…
Levi Johnson is gay? That explains the Playgirl shoot. I knew that Barr was alive, just irrelevant. How in the heck did Martin Short bring in viewers?
Short was probably dressed like Jimmy Glick… That is how. Actually I do not know; Behar is not really pulling in a star studded cast for her panels now is she? Poor, sad Joy…

I can’t believe half a million people actually watch her and her cohorts. i place most of the blame on women. why do women gravitate to these people. how can anyone stand listening to her psychobabble and pretend that what she says has merit. behar seems to be a mean spirited woman. and to the ladies that watch this show and the view , please ladies, stay on planet venus. at least you will be a million miles from affecting our reality.

I watched an episode or two when Behar’s show first came on but found her so hateful and mean-spirited I can’t stomach her any longer. She seems to have a vendetta against that Palin woman.

She attacks her Christian White guests and demands their opinion on Gay marriage waiting to summary execute and kill instantly the conservative guests career should they exclaim true views of marriage between man and women. CNN-Headline had their rating star when they had Glenn Beck, but his bosses kept him on a short leash while at CNN. FoxNews just let him do his thing, & BANG. It is just ANOTHER reason CNN as whole is fighting for leftovers.

I don’t know if Joy is for real or just putting on an act but she is the most hateful person I have seen on tv in a long time and the interesting, ironic thing is she is accusing others of being hateful. Is she trying to be a hypocrite?
I watched her show a few times early on when she actually did try to present both sides but she quickly devolved into a far Left radical with absolutely nothing but contempt for any contrasting opinion.
Thank goodness she is no longer exposed to children as a teacher…. what a hatemonger.
