Land of the free? Senator says immigration stats show welfare rules not enforced
“Virtually no one one is being examined before they enter the country on whether or not they’ll … immediately begin to depend on government welfare,” Sessions, R-Ala., top Republican on the Senate Budget Committee, told Fox News.
More accurate would be: Virtually no one is being examined because the border is so porous we don’t even know who the hell is in this country.

It would be easier, and cheaper, to fine any business $100 grand per illegal on the payroll. If nobody can afford to hire them, they won’t come here.
It would help if states would quit giving them welfare too but I ain’t holding my breath.

I’m partial to the idea of putting some CEOs on trial for hiring illegal aliens. Having the perp walk televised nationally would devastate the job market for criminal trespassers, and there’d be a mad rush for the border.
Oh, another thing. To keep the leftists from screaming about tearing families apart, make sure they understand that we don’t mind if they take their anchor baby along.

Someone in Washingtoon finally figured this out? Imagine that.
Here in New Mexico someone, probably the state DNC, is buying radio air time and telling illegals where to go to sign up for welfare. Of course, the ads are in spanish.

Apparently not. I jave ads in Spanish, Billboards in Spanish and the little mom and pop restaurant where I eat has waitresses who speak only Spanish, though they understand well enough to take a basic order. God forbid you be able to make substitutions, or ask about the food. And most of the residents in my apartment complex are here from Mexico. No English. Rumor has it a couple of guys who live her are illegal, but they are living in an apartment rented bu their employer, so they don’t have to show ID or a credit history, or any of the other stuff we all had to do.

You know all those polls about how the vast majority of US citizens don’t believe the US government operates with the consent of the governed? Immigration is issue numero uno in that disbelief. The same is true in Europe. Leftists in western “democracies” know the way to power is to import voters and demonize anyone objecting as racist monsters.

I had a discussion about this with a friend who’s wife works for immigration. Her job is to initially approve or shut down an application for citizenship. She says the ones who are applying through the legal channels, learned english, have all their ducks in a row are approved by her. When such an application goes up to the next level, they are denied. Next comes the applicant who shows no sign of melding into the American way of life. She turns them down and they are sent up the chain where her decision is overturned and the application moves forward.
He said an applicant was in her office last week getting her final paperwork done. When they were through, the applicant asked where she needed to go to apply for SS and welfare benefits. She just looked at the lady and said “I dunno.”

I’m pretty certain that you are not well versed on things like Article 4 Section 4.
“…[...] and [the United States] shall protect each of them [the States] against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”
So where are you confused about national sovereignty?
