Republican Linda McMahon creates panic by asking Democrat Dick Blumenthal how to create a job

by editor on October 6, 2010

The scene: The Connecticut debate between successful businesswoman Linda McMahon and lifelong bureaucrat hack Dick Blumenthal.

McMahon, who’s created thousands of jobs, looked Blumenthal straight in the eye and asked a simple question: “How do you create a job?”

Blumenthal stuttered and stammered and babbled and attempted to talk until people forgot what the question was and, in the end, made himself look like an idiot.

A variety of ways by a variety of people? Maybe one of the networks could bring back one of those old variety shows and Mr. Blumenthal could host it after November 2.

Mr. Blumenthal, what you’ve just said… is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I would rather have my 5 year old represent my district than Blumenthal. The man is beyond any imaginable level of idiocy. To think that this guy has an ivy league education, and commanded anyone in the reserves is so disturbing, I am speechless.
God help Connecticut if they give this man the job of representing their interests. He has no brain from what I can tell, and has never had so much as P&L authority, so it would seem to me, if they send him to Congress he will return to them exactly what they put in that seat-NOTHING!

Blumenthal thinks roughing it is shopping for more than ten items at the Westport, CT food op without using a cart. He thinks he’s Rambo- here he looks like he forgot to eat his Activia; even his suit looks like it is eating him up alive

Watch for Spitzer and Blumenthal this winter on C N N …. where client #9 and the “virtual combat vet” exchange humorless anecdotes on being some of the dumbest people on TV.

Sound like a 500 word in class essay written in like fifth grade. You use the question a time or two to pad the writing, then BS your way to the end. Looking for word count not substance, heh.

Yeah, and the voters will have an essay in rebuttal for Ol’ Dick to contemplate:

“F*ck you.”

I kind of like how it captures the spirit, without descending into unnecessary political drivel. Thinking of coming up with a list of hand gestures to help make the point, though.
