if people want to hear liberals tell them how they should live, then air america would be on nation wide each day, but it lasted about as long as it takes me to P.

Sounds like the goals of this administration and congress to me.
Marxism-the system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, esp. the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society. Hmmmm, also sounds like the current administration and congress. I guess the goal of totalitarianism has many names.
By the way, Republicans have no corner on the market, the politics of personal destruction are very prevalent in the Democratic party, too.
It amazes me that you only see issues from one side. Do you really think that Corporate welfare recipients are limited to friends of the Republican party? Maybe you should look real hard at General Electric.

dictionary.com Facisim-a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism. Libbey and the gang outed an American intelligence agent because that's what fascists do. When they can't get their way they "scapegoat" others and use blackmale or whatever it takes.
Look at what they have been doing to Lindsey Graham. What has Graham done that is so different from any other conservative? Calling Beck on his bullsh*t is all I can recall. Immediately he was the "black sheep" and all the conservatives were talking bad about Graham. He's gotten himself back in line and has learned his lesson about going against the Reich and is unlikely to do it again.
I have to say, you guys have a nasty little society going on over there on the right. No one is allowed to have an opposing point of view or are allowed to speak out on a fellow conservative.
You call Democrats or liberals "marxists" which further demonstrates the fascist culture you guys are growing. Fascists always have to have a percieved enemy. That keeps the people frightened and dependant on their leaders to keep them safe.
Let me ask you Arlan, not the conservative movement but you, what makes the Democrats Marxists? How is it a seemingly intelligent person like yourself, can subscribe to such ridiculous and hipocrytical phylosophies? On the one hand, Democrats are blamed for creating social programs which conservatives label "entitlement programs", while at the same time big business gets more handouts than anyone in our society by far. Why do people like you not scream "entitlement" when big business gets their billions? If you look closely at the things the Democrats do it is a platform of empowering people to make and enjoy a better life. Give more people a chance at the American dream. On the Republican side it is a callous and cold program that supports business and the rights of business over the people.
This country employs capitalism, but was not founded for that reason. Our founding fathers created a society centered around individual rights and liberties. It's "We the people" not "We the consortium".

Look,<br

After all the media attention, investigative reporting and general character assassination, all they got Scooter Libbey for was lying to the court. Do you really think there was more to it when so much of the liberal media had made their life's work to find something more?

The problem with Van Jones is he isn’t the only Marxist in the administration.<br

If people organize, and by organize I mean they can create websites, purchase air time for commercials, do whatever it takes. But if they do it of their own accord, because they beleive in their heart that it is the right thing to do, that is a grass roots movement. And Fox as well as MSNBC should cover it and tell American viewers what's going on.
If you have a company, or even an organization like ACORN that organizes, and gathers people together for political purposes that is not a grass roots movement. That is a political action organization.
If you have a media source, that creates a movement, talks about and convinces people to show up at that movements rally then that is not grass roots. It's not propaganda yet though......wait for it......Now that media source passes that political movement (which it created and propagated) off as a grass roots movement. It has officially become propaganda. They are acting as if this movement was created by some outside entity and that they themselves are a neutral news source merely covering the event they are deceiving people and engaging in propaganda.
MSNBC picked up on this and did some good reporting on Fox's hoax.

Maybe the mis-understanding here is in what you consider to be a “grass roots” movement.<br

I guess you would agree then that the Million Man March was a propaganda induced rally too since that was over a year in the making.

Since you indicated that the 9/12 movement isn’t grass roots I had to wonder how anyone would possibly show up to something like that without being paid. Also, stop acting like Van Jones was a member of Obama's cabinet or something. He was a consultant at best. Do you realize that in any given president's term that they will employ the services of thousands of people. If you have some guy with the resources of a media network constantly digging you're going to dig something up on someone sooner or later.
You keep throwing up Van Jones, alright he said some incindiary things and wasn't really that close to the president, and only left so that Harry would drop it and let the president get on with business. Let's talk about Scooter Libbey. Much higher up than Van Jones and he committed criminal offenses for which he was convicted and pardoned. Beck's not looking into that conspiracy but why? You got the Carl Rove, Dick Cheney, and Scooter Libbey. On top of that you got the "outing" of a U.S. Intelligence agent. That story has prime-time conspiracy written all over it, but let's talk about some loud mouth Van Jones saying something that hurt Harry's feelings.

O.k., he said that Obama bailed out G.M. so that he could use On Star to spy on the American people. I said there wasn't that many of them considering how hard Harry was hitting the pulpit leading up to the thing. And I said that Fox news manufactured the event. If a bunch of people get together to protest, spontaneously or by their own accord that's a grass roots rally. If a cable news network invents the movement, and advertises the rally for a month and convinces people to attend it's not grass roots. It's media sponsored and it's phony. That doesn't mean the attendees were paid and I never suggested they were.
The Bachman rally was even smaller, although I will say hers was a last minute thing, and didn't have all the lead in the 9/12 rally had.
Look, if you've found or want to present some evidence that Dems or MSNBC to be more specific (because we're talking about dishonesty in journalism not politicians) paid people to go to rallys then just put it up. You don't have to pretend that I made some argument that I didn't.

Where did you get that? I never suggested the people were paid. But let me say this. Go look up the Cavuto clip online and see for yourself. He himself had no real count, if he had estimated 15 thousand and said that, then fine. He may have been way off but you couldn't accuse him of lying. But he himself estimates the crowd at 5 thousand. Then turns around minutes later and says two or three times the amount he beleived in his own mind to be in attendance. It's a lie. Stop spinning it man it's an outright lie.
Same as the Hannity footage. I'm not saying Hannity is responsible, or that he was even aware of it, but someone who works for his show edited the footage to mis-represent the number of people in attendance. And yes, MSNBC covered Fox's move to create a phony grass roots movement. MSNBC decided that the story wasn't the 9/12 movement but rather Fox news' manufacturing of that movement. Editorial discretion, instead of biting on the phony grass roots angle, they went after the real propaganda move that Fox was trying to put down.

First, I’m not sure what point you’re making here.<br
