Re the “birthers” I personally don’t care if he was or was not born in Hawaii, which had only recently become a state two years earlier, being a natural born citizen does not make you a loyal American, case in point: Timothy McVey.

Perhaps his birth certificate indicates his father was the entire defensive line of the Honolulu High School football team. It’s a little embarassing but who cares? Whatever the birth certificate says does not affect his competency to serve as POTUS. What does concern me is that for the first time in US History our president was born of a man who came to this country, dropped his seed and then left because he didn’t like it here. Obama (aka Barry) was raised by a white mother and grandmother and yet now considers himself African American — to identify with the loser father? His history doesn’t indicate a man of great conviction or even knowlege of the unique values upon which this country was founded. For political reasons he uses his father’s skin color to claim the terrible legacy of America’s history of slavery and take the mantle of first black president implying that he has risen above that heritage — when no one in his family suffered that indignity. The guy has some real problems presenting himself honestly. That worries me.

However, his college and medical records are fair game. they should be released as they can and do impact his competency. I don’t get the conspiracy theory of how he got into Harvard being a poor orphan — I’m sure there are other outstanding students who have done the same and overcome poverty. But — normally they are all to willing to show their records in order to encourage others.

What concerns me about obama is that he lives in a house of mirrors. The birthers just make fools of themselves pursuing an incident that was completely out of Obamas control. there are far more important skeletons in his closet — skeletons of his own making, those are the ones that we should be examining

Is it curious at all to you why Obama has spent almost a million dollars in attorney fees to keep his college records hidden, and btw, why he only released I believe a single sheet medical history? People with nothing to hide don’t keep this many secrets, especially someone who claimed he would have the most transparent administration in history.

BTW, the hospital did not verify his birth certificate, they only verified his birth with an alternate form.
