Where are the headlines announcing that it was just a radio stunt?
It was big news last week when a man showed up at an ObamaCare rally with a semi-automatic assault rifle slung over his shoulder and a pistol strapped on his hip.
Headlines screamed. News anchors were atwitter. And talk radio was abuzz.
Now it turns out the whole thing was just a radio stunt. A stunt by gun rights advocates, to be sure, but a stunt nonetheless.
Conservative talk radio host Ernest Hancock went on CNN and said he had been in the middle of interviewing Chris (no last name provided) when the news network’s cameras showed up. The two men have known each other for two years.
Rick Sanchez: The more we look into this, the more it appears that it was really planned.
Hancock: Oh, it’s more planned than you think.
Rick Sanchez: This was a publicity stunt.
Hancock: Oh, absolutely.
Unfortunately, the CNN interview has been removed from YouTube and replaced with a notice that says, “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.”
See, this is one of the reasons we hate the media. The horrifying news of an armed racist at an Obama rally, a potential assassin targeting America’s first black president, spread across the media like wildfire.
But when the reality of the situation is revealed, the media finds it far less worthy of their valuable airtime and newsprint.
We’re embarrassed to have to find the truth at CNN and the Huffington Post.

This story was classic media bias, the footage I saw showed blatant editing for effect. The clip only showed the mans back with both guns plainly obvious in the footage, however they always cut the footage before it pans up to reveal the man carrying the weapons is black. The news reader/repeater even stated that there were WHITE people carrying guns to rallies.
Its so sad that liberalism has to stoop so low to keep people in its corner. It must be frustrating and tiring for so many people to constantly struggle to keep the curtain pulled over their little sham.
Being a Second Amendment advocate, this kind of stunt only hurts what we are trying to advance. I know that the media confined their outrage to the “racism” to further their own agenda, and that is immoral. But, I am somewhat relieved that they did not attach this to the 2A Rights community! We have enough of an image problem.
No way this took place in California since the AR in the picture has too many of the “fun” features to be legal here. And we can only dream of the day we can buy and use high capacity magazines like the one in the firearm.
I am finding the “This video has been removed due to terms of use violation” notice all too common in videos on youtube that make liberals look bad. I remember during the 08 election, if you searched “Obama” on youtube, all the search results would be extremely positive. But if you searched ‘McCain’, literally every single result on the first page were smear videos. Coincidence?
Google is well-known for supporting leftist causes, so it’s very fishy. It reminds me of the digg political feed which seems to only promote left-leaning articles. I’m sure that you could make the argument that there internet users tend to be more liberal, but I’ve never actually seen a truly conservative political article make the frontpage on digg.
Careful my friend Chris the “powers that be” are not open to conspiracy theories. It may not be PC to voice any Google agenda concerns here, Even if several Whitehouse staffers now include several former Google employees. Posting that may only result in you being viewed & labeled you as a hysterical conspirator theorist.
So help me God.
That’s it, I’m using bling.
