Megyn Kelly could’ve rhetorically gutted this simplistic idiot from the seditious Code Pink on the inane stance that it was somehow legal for a citizen’s arrest of Karl Rove but didn’t…
I like Megyn Kelly but this wasn’t one of her stronger showings and she’s had many very good ones…

1. Why isn’t she protesting Obama and his “illegal wars for oil” in Iraq and Afghanistan.
2. Richard Armitage leaked the name Valerie Plame . . . so why hasn’t she tried to place him under citoyen’s arrest?

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Had I been in Rove’s shoes, I would have put my hands behind my back, allowed her to cuff me, and see where she went from there. Because at that point, in a lawful citizen’s arrest, the arrestee must be turned over to law enforcement personnel to be charged. Give her enough rope,………….

I have never met a person who is a member of or supports Code Pink, though I know many Obama supporters, just as I have have never met a person who watches Countdown. I think everybody’s missed a great point. I think Rove should have been arrested. That would have set the precedent for us to her advice that “all citizens” stand up for the rule of law and start “arresting” all of these nimrods that voted for an unconstitutional health care bill. According to Wikipedia: “Each state, with the exception of North Carolina, permits citizen arrests if the commission of a felony is witnessed by the arresting citizen, or when a citizen is asked to assist in the apprehension of a suspect by police. The application of state laws varies widely with respect to misdemeanors, breaches of the peace, and felonies not witnessed by the arresting party. American citizens do not carry the authority or enjoy the legal protections held by police officers, and are held to the principle of strict liability before the courts of civil- and criminal law including but not limited to any infringement of another’s rights.” Frankly, I think they’re a load of crap. Wars have more often driven our economy that broken it. Why do you think the backroom money managers from all over the planet allow the wars to take place? Because the need for military materi’el drives production, jobs and a sense of well being at home. During WWII people scrimped and saved for everything, and gave gladly, because in comparison to the depression years, the war years were in the clover!
