More weirdness from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch

Wish we could have attended the auction of odds and ends from Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch (emphasis is definitely on the word “odd” in that sentence). Because Michael Jackson collected some strange stuff. Some very damn strange stuff indeed.

Unfortunately, the auction was cancelled on April 14. But fear not. Current TV’s Ben Hoffman toured the auction house with his video crew on April 13.

It was all on display. The naked dead baby holding a fish. The many, many statues of little boys. Strange paintings of Jackson himself. Guady costumes. Elaborate uniforms. Stuffed servants (you have to see it to believe it). And oh so much more.

Yow.

Did you notice him dressed as a Renaissance prince/king in several portraits?
Oh, my, his ego knows no limits. I don’t think he just likes imagination and story telling.. I think he lives in never, never land, most of the time. Sad really.
Kind of scary how many boy statues he owns.
A lot of that kind of egoism in this sorry old world, lately. His dreams and self love, with no brakes, knew no boundaries – oh, and that statue of the boy in the top hat holding a little bag was actually the Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist, guys.
