Michael Moore’s new film unlike his previous ones. This one blames Reagan for everything, instead of Bush.

Michael Moore has a big opening. His film didn't have such a big opening.

Michael Moore has a big opening. His film didn't have such a big opening.

Director and “Biggest Loser” candidate Michael Moore is awfully damn happy with himself over his latest movie.

Writing in Huffington Post, Moore said “Having spent the last year and a half living pretty much under the radar and quietly putting together this movie for you, it is heartening, to say the least, to read the early reviews where Time Magazine called it ‘Moore’s magnum opus,’ the Los Angeles Times has declared it my ‘most controversial film yet,’ and Variety has said that Capitalism: A Love Story is ‘one of Moore’s best films.’ Wow. Honestly, I didn’t know what to expect, considering this film is an all-out assault against the racket polite people like to call ‘Wall Street.’”

Let’s see. Since Moore’s remarks that “Capitalism is both un-Christian and un-American, an evil that deserves not regulation but elimination,” we can kind of guess where this movie is going.

The Independent Eye, a blog committed to independent film review bemoans the fact that there are no conservative reviews of the film. We can’t understand why conservatives are not flocking to see it either, but we think it may have something to do with the fact that Moore is a fat idiot and his movies blow chunks.

Using his typical 1/4 truth documentary style, Moore again focuses on the misery of some to make his point (and his profits).

Now if he could just spare us the misery of another Michael Moore movie.

Controversial. What do you think? Thumb up 7 Thumb down 1

Michael Moore falls back on his formula of lies and half-truths to push his socialist/communist agenda. If he really believed his own shit, he’d donate all the proceeds to the homeless and unemployed. Pure capitalism, like pure athletics, rewards results, not intentions.

Here’s an explanation of his hypocrisy about this movie from the LA Times-

Funny how HE can get rich from capitalism and it’s OK…

Being so against Capitalim…then I am sure he wouldn’t mind giving back every dollar, every coin he has ever made to live off of in his lifetime that came as a result of living in a capitalistic society…I’m just saying…

even if it meant getting my site known to the whole damn world, i wouldnt provide a conservative’s review of this movie

a straight man wouldnt want to review a gay porno, so why should anyone be upset if the same thing happens, only in politics?

if youve ever managed to sit all the way though crap like this, you know that all you do the whole time is get pissed, point out factual errors, and gawk at the straight up lies and the use of rumor, stereotype, and propaganda as fact.

for any intelligent person, especially one whom is in a constant state of analysis, films like these are simply unbearable, as you get easily frustrated knowing that out there, there are people watching the same thing, and agreeing with it, or taking in its lies for truth. its no longer funny when you see just how many people believe it.

Nice try but your argument is much better suited to people who don’t actually work for a living and as such are far less familiar with how capitalism benefits those who are not afraid to be sustained by their own labors and not the conscription of liberties and properties that are not rightly their own.

He’s a big fat hypocritical crybaby who loves to make money off his movies and hoards the money he earns. Give me a break. We already do that with politicians like Obama and McCain, why should we do it with a fucking movie director?

I just love it when capitalism is equaled to greed. Just because I know my worth because I worked hard to get an education or to hone skills just so I can put myself out there and get paid for them is not greedy. If I have a natural talent that I hone and discipline why should I not be paid for it, if I am out there and there is a market for it?

Then if I feel like it I can donate (to charity, churches, communities, families, friends…) as much as I want or not it is my choice. No one but a Higher Power has the right to tell me what to do with the funds that I earn through work. If the government needs money to defend my interests and to make sure the roads don’t rot I am all for giving the govt some funds, but it is disgusting for the govt to put the squeeze on me, just because I am good at what I do and I am results driven and I get paid.

Getting paid is not equaled to greed. Getting paid is the fair and just result of my work and my discipline in life. Getting paid is necessary for my survival on this planet and it also helps many other people along the way. If I don’t work I don’t get paid and if I don’t get paid I don’t get to buy food, nor shelter, etc.

Everyone needs to survive on this planet. Some will always have very little and some will always have a lot, but everyone has to live and everyone has plans for their children and their futures. Everyone has to make due with what they have UNTIL they are able to get new skills or sharpen the old ones or be better educated and learn to do something that someone is willing to pay good money for. People that can AFFORD to pay me for my marketable goods or services are people that we need, because once I get paid I and the millions of other people that work TRULY stimulates the economy.

Making EVERYONE poor (except for hypocritical people like Moore who profit from capitalism but bitch slap it at the same time) is not the answer to our problems. If everyone is poor then there would be no one to offer us a job so we can survive and feed our families. We won’t be able to give to charity and take care of the people who truly cannot take care of themselves. We won’t be able to help other business nor stimulate the economy at all. Everyone looses.

The only employer would be the government which I suppose is the goal of the socialist. To have everyone under the control of the government. I don’t know about you, but that prospects scares the crap out of me. The govt can then decide who gets to work and who doesn’t get to work regardless of who has the ability to do the best job according to their education or skills, there is more room for cronyism.

Isn’t the amassing of all power a greedy move? It is, and that is what the govt is trying to do. Get all things and people under it to better control and manipulate the outcomes of our lives. That is not freedom nor liberty it is not awesome at all.

Capitalism is not perfect but it benefits everyone and anyone who wants to benefit from it, socialism only benefits the very few and the very few who are in power.

…”because once I get paid I and the millions of other people that work TRULY stimulates the economy.”…

I just finished reading the supposed leaked “Citigroup Oct 16, 2005 Plutonomy Report” brought up in the film. If you truly believe that you “TRULY stimulate the economy” you should read them yourself. If the document is true, unless you are within the top 1%, your contribution to the economy is nothing more than an ongoing joke to these people. Its actually quite disturbing… I’m not saying that this document is legitimate but if it is… It only confirms what has been in the back of my mind most of my life. To be honest, I am still trying to convince myself that this document is fake, which somehow led me to this website in attempt to fact check and research. To think that this is what we are… Makes me feel very sick to my stomach…

I would imagine his next movie will attack..hmmm lets see, the Eater Bunny as a capitalist tool? Santa Claus as a right wing propagandist? The boy scouts as a recruitment tool of the KKK?

Perhaps he should make a autobiography, “Ding dongs, Ho=Ho’s and me”

By the way, they will give you a razor at the homeless shelter Michael so you can clean up your face so it doesn’t look like butt hair….
