Only a wife could talk to the President this way.
The Christian Science Monitor reports this human interest story from Oslo:
Before picking up his prize and delivering an eloquent speech, the president and first lady visited the Nobel Institute to sign a guest book in the room where the Nobel Committee meets to vote on prizes. Mr. Obama carefully wrote seven lines of text, prompting Mrs. Obama to ask, “Are you writing a book?”
No, Michelle, if he had been writing a book Bill Ayers would have been there.

she is class all the way-wise cracks in a place like that. They just continue to piss on all things sacred(though the nobel has lost its luster-going back to Carter, and of course Yasser AraFAT, etc…I guess after I think about it, it is such a joke, it was okay to do. I take it back!
You’re just mad because the entire world makes sport of American conservatives. You embarass us.
You can’t win a nobel prize so you say it’s a joke. You’re the joke. The whole world agrees. In fact, most people cannot understand why Americans even tolerate you.
Yup, the Nobel has been a joke long before they decided Obama needed one for doing….umm…nothing. And it is funny how the Obama’s have continued to oh-so-casually insult our allies and bow before people who want us dead.
Oh, and while I’m here; hey Jon, you wanna talk about embarrassment? Do you have any idea of how big of a douche bag your lil’ pic makes you look like? Sometimes, I read your posts and am exasperated, but then I look at you, all gangster’ed up, and it just turns my frown upside down! I wish you were smiling, because I like to imagine you with a gold tooth.
No James, he’s probably sporting a grill….
Obama brought the Chinese Prime Minister to terms today. So he’s not bowing down to the same people Bush did at least.
Like everything else you conservatives have no fasion sense either. I don’t dress “hood” or “black”. I’m wearing a thermal pull-over with a hood. No baggy pants, no shirts ten sizes too big. I’m wearing leather jewelry for crying out loud. If anything I dress Grunge or progressive rock. Just because you and DJ buy your clothes at WalMart doesn’t mean that someone who knows how to dress is “gangsta’d up”. I’m not knocking you though, you guys make me look better. I go out and pick up women and you guys just stand there in your ill fitting lee’s drinking a beer while I’m getting the numbers. Thanks.
P.S. All those women you wish you could have slept with…they were awesome! they were everything you dreamed they would be.
Toodles Jane I mean James.
Actually the terms that Obama brought the Chinese to was an agreement to sometime in the future, begin to maybe do something about Chinese emissions. Obama actually wanted much more, including promising 100 Billion the first year and increases every year after, if third world nations, including China, would agree to destroy their budding economies in the name of a very dubious global warming theory. This coming to terms doesn’t even require congressional approval so isn’t even binding.
It’s still a success. The talks were in a shambles when Obama got there and nothing was going to move forward. He cleared his schedule, met with the Chinese and wound up getting something out of nothing.
He didn’t get everthing and never would have. No one could. This is world politics. You do what you can and move on. Hopefully you get a little more down the line.
You can’t beleive that under the circumstances he didn’t do well.
he got nothing except the ability to claim something that only tea drinkers recognize as anything but political bs
I heard that his excuse was “the teleprompter made me do it” as he impersonated Flip Wilson.
Bush should have used a teleprompter. Or do you think he was well spoken when he tried to ad-lib?
“Fool me once shame on me, fool me …. well we’re not gonna get fooled no more” or some stupid sh%t like that.
All presidents use teleprompters. Just becuase Bush was too stupid to read from his is no knock on Obama.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Hey John, George Bush is not longer the President. Your guy is in the office. Why are you still so angry? As far as W being stupid, we actually saw his grades if you remember. They were actually better than the Frenchman Jon Kerry’s grades who also was “much smarter” than George Bush.
Why is it that we have never seen your leader’s grades? You don’t suppose that he could be hiding the fact that he is just not that smart.
I’ll concede the point that W did not to well reading his speaches, but he did great speaking his heart. Your guy is great when reading someone else’s words, but not so good when he um has to ah come up um with ah um his um own thoughts. Maybe that’s why Hollywood likes him so much?
Are you referring to the grades his family purchased? or are you suggesting that a man who was obviously stupid (to even the most casual observer) was truly an Ivy league stand out?
Give it up man, Bush was and still is an idiot. And no, I’m not gonna move on. You attacked Clinton for eight years after he was gone so Bush and the rest of you weak bi%^hes are gonna bend over and take whatever I serve you.
WOW! You win. Your arguements are so compelling and factual that the rest of us “bi%^hes” must bow to your wisdom and grace. You are a real gangsta playa.
I think that you should come clean and admit that your real name is Kevin Federline. We’d all be impressed that you fathered the Spears’ children. Yo yo.
Sorry to the rest of you, but I was trying to us language that this gansta wannabe would unda stand. Peace out.
Read my posts and read yours. My command of the english language is superior. So no need to gangsta it up.
I must have been under a rock or something at the time, but I don’t remember anybody attacking Clinton…..oh yeah, until he LIED under oath to the grand jury. I think that pissed some of us off.
Bush did indeed need a teleprompter. He was not a gifted speaker, and certainly can’t be compared to Clinton or Obama in that regard. But the fact that first name that gets thrown out the moment liberals are challenged on anything is “George Bush” is kind of pathetic. If they spent as much time and effort actually doing something as they did on blaming the previous administration for their own shortcomings they would probably have gotten all their plans going full force by now. Actually…maybe I should be glad that they are so focused on the past, after all.
So you don’t remember “whitewater” and all the other accusations Republicans leveled against Clinton well before the Lewinski deal? And by the way, he lied about getting some cap on the side. What interest to the nation was it to ask in the first place? You ask the right questions and anyone will lie, and Clinton is only one of many presidents who screwed around on their wife.
Not hard to blame the previous administration when we are still in a recession they created.
Yeah wouldn’t it be convenient to forget all about Bush. You conservatives are already trying to put every economic ill on Obama, you’d be blaming him for creating the recession.
I have vague recollections of Whitewater, but at the time I had more important things to do. I mean hell, Clinton wasn’t trying to turn us all into communists, so what the hell did I care? And I don’t care that he screwed around on his wife. What I care about is that the President of the United States lied under oath, in front of a grand jury. Such an act shows no respect for the office he was holding, or the people who put him there. And that’s really the only bad thing I have to say about Clinton. Minus the fact that he had the chance to put a stop to Osama Bin Laden long before 9/11. Did the Bush administration spend it’s entire run bringing that up and blaming the whole disaster on Clinton? I don’t recall that they did. Under Mr. Bush, we ran up huge debt. It pissed me off then, and it still pisses me off. But to have run up more debt faster than any President in history and then spend your time blaming those who came before you….it’s weak, it’s idiotic, and it accomplishes nothing. If you were actually willing to listen to most conservatives, I think you would find that most of them were not entirely happy with Bush, and still aren’t. But he’s no longer in charge. Time to move on.
I also don’t believe anybody could possibly blame our current problems entirely on Obama. He sure is making things worse, but he didn’t get us here. To blame the problems of this country on one man is moronic. The office of President does not convey absolute power. And I could back our current President wholeheartedly if he would just DO something, and stand for something other than larger government. But that, sadly, will never happen.
Nice new pic, by the way. It really conveys who you are, and what you are all about, much better than the old one.
I saw George Bush speak to a crowd of 600 for 90 minutes with nothing more than 1 page of notes. He was eloquent, insightful and compelling. His problem was he froze in front of the camera, especially with the teleprompter. As to his IQ — I’m pretty sure Obama’s academic record is right up there with carrots, which is why he won’t release any of his college transcripts.
Exactly. When cameras were involved or/and he knew the media would be there to judge him he did indeed freeze and stumble. Obama is great with the cameras but there is not much soul or heart there.
Yeah right. I guess we’ll not be relying on you for what is eloquent or insightful in the future.
Yeah, I didn’t much like Clinton, but once he got his wings clipped in the 94 election he wasn’t too bad a president. His main problem was he put himself into a untenable position, basically making him ineffectual. I wasn’t a huge fan of Bush either, but he was the lesser of two evils during the elections. The jury is still out on Obama of course, but he doesn’t do well off script.
I guess I’d rather listen to a man muff his lines and sound stupid, than speak eloquently and prove it.
