Either Michelle Obama is a liar or she had a very unhealthy relationship with her father

by editor on October 4, 2009

We’re so confused. The Most Beautiful First Lady In History told the International Olympic Committee a tale of her childhood. At least we hope it was from her childhood.

“Some of my best memories are sitting on my dad’s lap, cheering on Olga and Nadia, Carl Lewis, and others for their brilliance and perfection.”

Heartwarming. Except for one thing.

Turns out Carl Lewis first competed in the Olympics in 1984 when Michelle Obama was already 20 years old. So either she was lying or she had a very strange relationship with her father.

This is more than vaguely reminiscent of the time that Hillary Clinton announced that she had been named after Sir Edmund Hillary. In fact, she told the story for nearly a decade before someone figured out that he was an unknown New Zealand beekeeper when Hillary Rodham was born in 1947 and didn’t become famous until he became the first man to scale Mount Everest in 1953. Either Hillary was lying or her Ma Rodham was psychic. Our money’s on the former.

Ditto with Michelle Obama.

Hubby recommends that I not post my thoughts on this subject. Says they are a bit over the top. Advice taken.

This makes me think of the outrageous Al Gore claims, especially his remember my mother singing him to sleep with the ‘Look for the Union Label’ song that was written when he was 27.

Give her a break. She had to duck sniper fire on the airport tarmac coming in.

First we found out more than we needed to about Mackenzie Philips.

Then we were repelled by the reemergence of Roman Polanski.

And now this.. beast….

LOL hilarious comments but yes this is not unusual. Barack lied about the whole Civil Rights being the connection that got his parents together and that was a lie.

DIRTY MINDED PEOPLE.

Sitting on your fathers lap, does not automate an incestuous relationship.
She was sitting on his lap, that does not mean a Man with Muscular Serosis has a hard on. AND IT DOES NOT MEAN, OUT OF THE ORDINARY BECAUSE SHE WAS GROWN. FATHERS CAN HUG THEIR DAUGHTERS, AND DAUGHTERS CAN SIT ON THEIR FATHERS LAP, WITHOUT ANY THOUGHTS WHATSOEVER OF SEX. JUST A NORMAL AFFECTION OF A FATHER WITH HIS DAUGHTER, WHO IS ALWAYS HIS CHILD, REGARDLESS OF AGE. These people on this board will never under stand African Men holding hands without being Gay, because they are brothers in agreement. Arab men kiss each other, hug each other, these are normal affection, and human interaction, just like Michelle who was very close to her father, sitting on his lap. It was wholesome for her growing up, and when she was grown, it did not stop being wholesome, because of age. It is only thoughts, that make things like the closeness of a father and daughter ugly.

marlene,
I think you’ve missed the point of the story, entirely, that being: Like any good progressive elitist, MO doesn’t let the truth get in the way of a good story, or of anything else for that matter.
