Michelle Obama waiting at mailbox for a royal wedding invitation that’s never going to arrive

by editor on February 25, 2011

It’s sad, really. Poor Michelle Antoinette is having a bit of difficulty accepting the fact that she’s been snubbed by real royalty. But forsooth, verily, snubbething is what they have done. Pip, pip, cheerio. (Admit it, you thought we were British there for a moment, didn’t you?)

The Daily Telegraph UK reports the regal repudiation:

michelle-antoinette-obama

She's American royalty, damn it. And she deserves an invitation to Britain's royal wedding.

Even after it was clear that Prince William and Kate Middleton would not be sending a wedding invitation to the White House, Michelle Obama still appears not to have given up hope.

“If I get invited, I’ll go,” the First Lady said on the Live With Regis and Kelly Show on American television. She conceded, however, that, as things stand, she had not been invited.

Her comments are likely to exasperate senior courtiers, who — as I reported on Nov 14 last year — had to put off naming the wedding date until a week after announcing the engagement because White House officials were not at first certain when Barack Obama and his wife would make their first state visit to Britain.

Obama’s men, adamant that the two events should not clash, subsequently agreed May 24 to 26, almost a month after the royal wedding, as the dates for his visit.

Don’t they know she is the new American royalty? Have they not heard that she’s called Michelle Antoinette? Not seen her regal demeanor? Not noticed her imperial attitude?

She’s one of them, damn it, and it hurts not to be accepted.

She didn’t get invited because they can’t take the chance that she will manhandle the Queen again.

Idea for an office pool – pick the date when the Royal Snubbing will be blamed on racism.

You mean her royal fat ass has not been invited. ALRIGHT, her Majesty Queen Elizabeth showed some true back bone by no allowing these two fakes to attend her grandson’s wedding.

Hell the Rolls Royce would not hold up to the weight and the arrogance of them.

I’m in the pool. The date that the claims of racism will be 3/17/2011, St Patrick’s Day, when the bowl of shamrocks are presented at the White House, that way barry can use the Irish for cover.

Who cares if bubble butt gets invited or not? This is not about the Obummer family, this is a wedding for the Royal family and the citizens of Great Britian.

Someone needs to tell her that little fact. The families of the Prince and his bride to be are the only people that should be there.

Actually, wr, royal weddings are truly affairs of state, and a world leader not getting invited is a snub of epic proportions — probably the only more offensive snub would be to, say, return the bust of that country’s greatest leader, and hand their ceremonial head of state something truly narcissistic — say, an ipod (made in china, of course — the symbolism wasn’t lost on me) with all of his speeches on it.

But, seriously, nobody is that f*cking stupid. Right? [crickets]

Well, maybe we can give them a reset button with the word written incorrectly, and make an apology tour so we can bow to any handy dictator while cutting off any ally that ever helped us. *That’ll* show em!

I do believe the most smarterest president ever to boast an IQ slightly above room temperature (with the sealed transcripts to prove it), a constitutional scholar who never read the thing, and a harvard law review editor who never spent a day at work ought to be up to such a job snubbing allies, and in all probability, *is* sitting there wondering why the invitation never shows.

Truly funny. It’s just too bad we live in the same damned country with him.

No, not all Royal weddings are state affairs. The wedding of the heir, i.e. Prince Charles, was a state function. The wedding of Prince William since he is not officially the heir, although next in line to the throne, to the throne because his father, Prince Charles, is still alive. That be the case, not being a state function, the Obama’s not being invited is the choice of Prince William and Kate. If one notes, the Obama’s are in the same boat as the president of France. He was not invited either.

Bubble butt? More like Blimp or Zeppelin, maybe hot air balloon. Bubble butts can’t be THAT big. They’re bubbles not boulders. She can probably compromise the structural integrity of most any piece of furniture she plops her… self on.

The real reason she cannot go is that she is attending an Anti-Colonial Imperialist lunchion on that day, then in the evening an Communist youth rally for dinner, and a Union meeting for snak. So she is busy.

I’ve seen the menu for these events:

1) Chilled monkey brains at the anti-Colonial Imperialist Luncheon…
2) Cabbage in Vodka sauce for the Communist Youth rally…
3) Beluga caviar, oysters andalouse and Dom Perignon ’65 for the Union get-together.

…then, it’s everybody back to Michelle’s villa for ribs!

You are on the right path. The Obama’s hate the British with a passion. It has alot to do with British involvement in Kenya, & includes Barry’s father. They did’nt see things eye-to-eye, Obama the elder got the worst of that one, & since being elected, President Obama has treated the Brits like sh!t. So I am happy to see William & Kate have noticed, & that they are not inviting them to their wedding. Let’s face it, the Obama’s would embarass themselves & the USA if they did go. Besides, they will probably just go on ANOTHER VACATION anyway, at our expense of course.

British women still wear hats to weddings. Is anyone else just a tiny bit disappointed we’ll never see what sort of monstrosity FLOTUS’ milliner would create for her empty head? She would make this look tame: http://www.flickr.com/photos/venus_oak/3199493711/

I’m sure her sartorial choices on the official state visit will humiliate us just as well.

perlcat February 25, 2011 at 8:45 am

Rated Awesome! What do you think? Thumb up 18 Thumb down 1

Eventually she will get invited. The brits have enough class to do the right thing (unlike our FLOTUS or POTUS), but they’re waiting until the invitations have been sent to important dignitaries such as the Head of the department of public toilet regulation in Lichtenstein. (pun intended.)

Of course, our sycophantic press will gloss over this, as they did when Barry sent the Dalai Freaking lama out the White House the back way — the servants’ entrance over by the garbage cans. (They don’t even notice when he snubs liberal icons).

Rest assured, we will be treated to another “what not to wear” episode, hosted by the FDOTUS (Fashion Disaster…)

Yep, she’ll be wearing a big-assed hat, and the funny part is that it won’t be as big-assed as the moron wearing it.

No offense meant to the rest of you Yanks but I hope that Obama isn’t invited at the last minute, and is Royally snubbed. It certainly stuck in my throat when he snubbed us and said the French was America’s greatest ally (the French!!) when 1 in 10 British serving personnel in Afghanistan is being killed or wounded. Then of course he was also happy to give away British Trident weapon secrets (do we get our money back?) for his own political interest.
Just please remember when the Obamas come on a state visit and if the crowd boos they are not booing Americans, or America which despite a few Left wing twats Brits like, we are just booing Obama, period (as you Yanks say).
Regards, and a great site by the way – always read it.

None taken.

However, if he heads over there, you guys can keep him. We really don’t particularly want him back.

Having Barry around for humor purposes is a lot like watching the guy in the movie getting kicked in the stones. A lot funnier when it is someone else’s stones.

We should ask around — I hear there’s a job opening for him in ‘Libia’.

Can you feature the juxtaposition of English royalty and protocol up against the least classy American first couple ever? OMG. That would be ultraembarrasing to the citizens of the US, so I hope they NEVER get invited. I would like the Brits to think we still have SOME brains and class in this country! Elizabeth=gracious, thoughtful, very devoted to her position and the duties thereof. Moochele-loud, crass, wearing some fright of a dress and hat (OMG you don’t think she would try to wear PANTS?) and standing around completely unaware of where she is supposed to be and what she is supposed to be doing. Hopefully the nave of the church is too small for the Obamas’ heads, thus guaranteeing they will never be invited.

The Brit Royals will always maintain protocol. They are as good an ally as can be had on this jackoplanet, next to Israel. Well, they were better prior to the giant social shift there which includes the name Mohammed being the most popular for baby boys there now. So far, of the royals, only Charles has shown himself to be a good dhimmi, but that’s probably due to a flair up of his dementia. The rest of the country of England seems to be on the way to sharia for all.

I do like Kate Middleton. She is a classic beauty indeed. Perhaps the Brits know exactly what they’re doing not asking trashbags to this wedding.
